Interaction with Guests
I am always available by phone and Stephen, my local manager, is available for any on-site problems.
One thing I love about this development is that it is very quiet. It is not near any busy streets or freeways and is surrounded by a large park, a high school, and a large church complex And yet, it is within 2 miles of access to I275, the Bayway Bridge, and the majestic Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Another attraction of this neighborhood is the abundance of natural vegetation and the friendly neighbors.
You will have a reserved parking space right outside your door and there is ample guest parking. Public transportation routes are 4 blocks away in either direction. The Tampa and Sarasota airports are right on 75/275. The Tampa airport is 30 minutes away, and the Sarasota airport is 43 minutes away. The St Petersburg/Clearwater airport is also easy to get to and only 25 minutes away. Gulf beaches are only ten minutes away.
Other Things to Note
1) If you have small children, please consider whether the open stairway will be a safety issue for you. 2) There is a twin size Aero bed in the master closet if you need it. 3) When you request a reservation, please tell me about your party (adults, children, relationships, purpose of visit, any special needs or requests). 4) I have a rental agreement that I would like you to sign before confirming your reservation. This just makes certain there are no misunderstandings. I will email it to you on request. 5) Prices include 12% Florida occupancy tax. Note: other rental sites add this on after the quoted rate.
This is a respectful, quiet complex and I need to have my guests exercise the same curtesy. Of course, normal use and care of the home and furnishings is expected. Smoke only on the patio. Please note that, although I have listed it as "pet friendly," the association's pet policy is that only one small cat or dog (under 30#) is allowed.
About the Host, Janet
I recently moved to Florida from Minnesota Living in Florida has been a long-time dream. I discovered St Pete a couple years ago through a vacation rental, and fell in love with the city and this area. I now have two townhomes in this development, and live in the other one.
My background is primarily in human services.. I was a county social worker for 20 years and worked in residential services for adults with cognitive challenges for another 20 years I am still employed at the latter company as a seasonal employee and plan to work in the summer when I go back to MN for some family time
I've been very busy since I came to Florida fixing up the two places, but I have found a volunteer job at the Ronald McDonald House and a part-time job delivering flower (fun!). I love exploring the area, going to the beach, and sitting on my patio with my friend and companion, Chico.
I love hosting my vacation rental, making sure everything is in order and my guests are happy. When I'm not here, my local host, Stephen will make sure everything is in order
