Such a lovely peaceful place, great for a cosy weekend with bushwalks, best sleep I'd had in ages!!!
We loved our first experience of Air BnB!
Leigh greeted us when we arrived and both her and her husband made us feel very welcome. The Yurt is quiet, private and romantic. We were very cosy during our first night listening to the rain on the roof and we were able to enjoy breakfast outside in the morning once the rain cleared. The highlight was definitely feeding the King Parrots on the balcony. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this place to everyone!
Leigh's husband greeted us as we arrived and told us a bit about the history of the yurt and what to do in the surrounding towns. The yurt is very romantic and the neighborhood woodsy feeling. The birds were loud but not obnoxious, felt like we were in the forest! Cooked dinner in the yurt and enjoyed wine and cheese on the deck. The nearby town of Thirroul has some cute cafes and shops, and Bulli Beach is nice. Had a lovely stay here and will definitely be back. Bonus: not too long a drive from Sydney!
Wonderful first time Air BnB experience. The Yurt is perfect, cozy, quiet and private. Will definitely stay here again if we can. Thank you!
Leigh & Andrew were very welcoming.
Yurt is up high in trees so very private. Was quiet, green, friendly neighbourhood. Yurt was intimate, clean & comfortable. Perfect or one or a couple
Loved it! Thanks
Leigh made us feel very welcome; she has a great sense of humour. We enjoyed our stay. Directions to find the yurt are very good. We recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
About the Host, Leigh
I am a Nurse and mother of 3 young children. My husband and I decided to host with Airbnb so we could meet people from around the world and share our special room in the rainforest. I enjoy gardening and birdwatching, entertaining friends and family and watching the children play.
