We had fabulous weekend stay at The Yurt with our 14months old! We had total privacy throughout our stay. Leigh and her husband were very welcoming and attentive. Lovely spot! Worth returning soon.
Perfect little oasis, Leigh is super friendly, privacy, surrounded by beautiful greenery, definitely plan another stay!! Thank you!!
Me and my partner stayed here for one night away. We had a great night amongst the trees. Thanks for a relaxing get away.
Amazing place and great host. will make this a home away from home. If you love nature and waking up to the sound of hundreds native birds this is the place to come!
Leigh was a friendly person. When I arrived and walked to her house. I meet Leigh when I walked. She picked me to get her daughter after school. She had 3 little kids. They all lovely and cutely. She took me to the super market. Because the house was far away from. There had kitchen in the yurt. We walked in the nice pathway to the yurt. I loved that very much.
The accommodation was very cozy, neat, and homely! Highly recommended for future guests. Thanks for having us!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Yurt for two nights and had an incredible stay! Leigh has made everything feel so homely and the birds and possum do not let you forget you are in the woods! Great way to spend a weekend - we will be back 100%!
As described. We had a beautiful night. Amongst the tree tops. Marvellous design about the yurt, you will always get the breeze flowing through.
So lovely to sleep in and hear the wildlife.
We did not have the chance to meet Leigh, but she is very easy to communicate with.
Thank you. Will definitely come and stay again.
Incredibly unique place to stay! Such tranquility! Loved it very much and would definitely recommend!
Instant Unwind. Total Relax. Book it!
In mid-January, there were gentle, scented breezes rippling through the gully for most of the day. The breezes have a beautiful, subtle forest fragrance – the pine-scented freshness that your household cleaners strive for but fail to deliver. Really refreshing.
There are 36 roof ribs/rafters in the raked, raw wood ceiling, sloping up to the crown of the yurt, effectively a skylight of 12 glass panes.
Lying in bed there are 2 windows to the left and 2 windows to the right. Looking through the windows on both sides, you see a number of tall, narrow saplings – which I think are reminiscent of Jackson Pollock’s famous painting, Blue Poles in the National Gallery in Canberra - bought for over $1 million, now estimated to be worth over $20 million – comparable to the value of the view from the yurt!
