Rent our truly wonderful cabin, suitable for 1-6 persons.
Fantastic location up in the Swedish mountains called "fjällen". The house is renovated 2018/2019, with new floors, new kitchen, new bathroom and a sauna. Grocery stores 10 minutes away by car. Restaurants just a few minutes away. Easy car ride (no dirt roads) from Stockholm with car, train/coach or by air. Do walks and treks in the summer or Alpine skiing in the winter. We have 54 track/slopes in 3 skiing areas on same skipass.

The space
Fully equipped and with a brand new bathroom and sauna (spring 2019) with WC, shower, 3 bedrooms, one room with a double bed, 2 rooms with bunk beds. Kitchen with micro owen + dishwasher, dinnertable for 6 persons. A wonderful livingroom with open fire, TV, a really big sofa in front of the fireplace. Free WIFI 250/250 mbt/s. The style is "nordic chic" and since the house is a real log house, you will hopefully find it nice and welcoming. The standard and the convenience is the same as in an apartment.

Come to Härjedalen/Jämtland and experience it! You can fly in to Stockholm and combine it with a week or a weekend in this lovely cabin in the swedish mountains. With our cabin as a hub, you are in the middle of wonderful untouched nature, with the possibility to ski or do walks and easy hikes in the surroundings, but still close to restaurants & foodstores. (5-10 minutes by car to shops and to two of the best restaurants in the region).

In winter there is superb slalom or cross country skiing here. The cabin has ski in ski out, no matter which skis you are on! A bunch of well kept cross contry tracks is only a few hundred meters away, and for downhill you ski directly in to the lift, apr 400 meters away.

2 ski areas are very close to the house (ski in or 5 mins with car). There is 2 moore nearby resorts (within 10-20 minutes by car).

All four resorts gives you a total of 54 ski slopes, with green, blue, red and black slopes + as said, a bunch of well kept Cross country tracks outside our door!

The cabin is located north of Stockholm and it´s a half days drive by car or 50 minutes to fly fr.o.m. Stockholm to Östersund airport (it is a pretty cheap flight from stockholm). From Östersund you can book a rental car or take a coach that takes apr. 1,5 hours. There is also a brand new train
(in the winterseason) that includes bustransfer. It leaves from Stockholm, or from the westcoast, Gothenburg or Malmoe. We will be happy to give you all info you need!

The neighborhood is really something. The house is one among a few houses on this road and you feel and sense the real nature, direct outside the house. Just a few steps away and you are out in this lovely nature. For example within 15 minutes with car you can reach many small lakes, 2 waterfalls and a lot moore. Restaurants, as well as food shops only 10 minutes away.

The NY visit in Manhattan on 13th street was really good and when we visited Croatia, we had a wonderful stay in a nice apartment with a fantastic view in Dubrovnik. After that we have used Airbnb about 15 times, always with good quality. Airbnb works! Love the idea to rent peoples places and to host for others. Me and my family like to travel and to explore. We love nature sports, like hiking and downhill skiing.
