One ground floor two-bedroomed unit with two bathrooms (showers only) with its own entrance. Separate lounge and dining room with fully equipped kitchen and private patios.
Four one-bedroomed self-contained suites, each with its own entrance. Each unit consists of a lounge with a fully equipped kitchenette, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The downstairs units have a shower and the upstairs units have an en suite bath and a shower.
King-size or twin beds with high quality linen.
Guests have their own entrance and do not share any amenities with other guests. The gardens immediately surrounding the main house are for the use of the owner.

The suites, completed in January 2014, were carefully designed to offer you a quiet and relaxed environment where you have complete privacy and the necessary modern comforts and amenities. The style is clean and contemporary and exudes understated style and luxury.
Other Things to Note
Each suite has its own entrance and provides self-catering accommodation with a well-appointed kitchenette. All units (with the exception of one) have either a patio or a balcony. Each unit is let on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and caters for both quick stop overs or for longer stays. It suits the business traveler and the tourist and provides a temporary housing solution for corporate relocations.
On request, a Continental breakfast can be supplied and placed in your fridge the night before. Amenities include Tea and coffee tray,
Bar fridge, Balcony/Patio, Desk, Housekeeping, Linen and Towels, International plug points, Free Wi Fi, Wall-mounted flat-screen TV, DSTV Full Bouquet Satellite TV and Selected Radio Stations, Complimentary toiletries, Under floor heating, Secure under cover parking,
Electric fence and electric gate, 24-hour Armed response, Food staples provided on day of arrival,

Nice, quiet place. James is a great host. No problems at all - highly recommended.
James, his brother Hank and the staff have been very welcoming and made us really feel like home! The place itself was very convenient, well furnished and equipped, cleaned as often as necessary.
The description fits perfectly the reality.
We'd recommand this accomodation to those who are looking for a quiet neighbourhood and a secure place, while being nearby everything!
James' unit is exactly as described and is even lovelier in person. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. James was very responsive and kind. He made sure we knew where to get food/groceries and also recommended a great neighbourhood restaurant for us to try. I loved staying here and would recommend James' unit to anyone looking to stay in a quiet JHB neighbourhood which is easily accessible to other parts of the city as well as,yoga studio at the colony shopping center, restaurants, food, pharmacy etc.
P.S. Don't miss the balcony looking out into treetops and makes you feel like you're far away from city life!
Lovely apartment in Craighall with all amenities needed. Very friendly staff and the owners are lovely. Number three had a lovely garden view and was very relaxing.

The stay at James was fantastic, the apartments were clean, with lovely views of the garden. Overall we felt totally welcome and enjoyed our 6 night stay there.
James was a fantastic host --discreet but helpful and very responsive to any last-minute requests. The description of Craighall Executive suites is certainly accurate --but it may not do the place full justice. The location is quiet, safe and pretty. It worked particularly well for me because I drove to Sandton where my work was --just 10-15 minutes' commute depending on traffic. The property is just off Jan Smuts avenue, one of the main arteries of the city's traffic, so very well-placed for getting around.
The suite itself was perfect for a slightly longer stay. I stayed for a month and hated the idea of being at a hotel. It's put together to be functional but also in very good taste. The bed is huge and comfortable; the kitchen offers everything you need for a proper meal; the living room and small dining table give the place a nice homey feel and you can easily work from home if you need to. The place is regularly and immaculately cleaned by the lovely Helen, who also does laundry upon request.
There's a Woolworth's supermarket 7 minutes away on foot, or 2 by car. Just across Jan Smuts, at St Alban's, there's a gorgeous little cafe called Warm and Glad where you can work if you don't want to work from home or don't have an office -and enjoy some delicious food, too.
All in all, I was blissfully happy for the month I stayed at James's suites, have already planned to return for another month and have recommended it to friends and colleagues, too.
