All vibrant activities and restaurants are within walking distance. On the ground floor of the very building has recommendable Korean restaurant and in 100m there is town's best Indian restaurant. Cheap and good laundry service in 150m from the house door. Just next door is a Glossary shop.
Bus station is in Peace avenue 200 m away from apartment. Taxi is easy way to get around in the city.
I very much enjoyed my stay at Zula's apartment. Clean and spacious, the place is exactly as described. Hot shower, dependable and fast wifi, perfect temperature settings inside all made this the perfect spot for me to explore Ulaanbaatar as well as relax. So much so, I added an extra 10 days to my reservation.
There are markets and grocery stores nearby so you can self-cater, and there are also immediately in the area some great restaurants (like Hazara). Sukhbaatar square is about a mile away. I enjoyed the walks, but there are buses and taxis a minute from the door along Peace Avenue.
Zula was always quick to respond to messages. She offered nice suggestions, and arranged a house cleaning as well as the airport transfers. A great host. I would definitely stay here again.
This was a very pleasant stay in a spacious apartment within easy access to the city centre (a 20 min walk). The host, Zula, offered airport pickup for a regular taxi rate, which meant that upon arrival everything went smoothly. All in all, this was a great experience and I would certainly try to book this accommodation again on my next visit to Ulaanbaatar!
We had a great stay at Enkhzul flat. It's clean, spacious, very comf and close to peace ave. Enkhzul was very easy to communicate with and we would recommend to stay at her department when in UB!!
A very pleasant stay in Ulaanbaater. Great location in city center. Shower works very well with plenty of hot water. Lot's of shops and amenities close by. If you like Indian food, the Khazar Restaurant behind the nearby Wrestling Palace serves one of the best Indian meals I've ever had. Ikea shower curtain = sign of progressive ownership.
The only challenge here is that the flat is located above a road intersection that gets LOTS of noise from honking motorists all day long. But it finally quiets down by about 9pm.
Zula can also help you arrange transportation to and from the airport. Very helpful! I would definitely stay here again.
Nice apartment not far from the center of the city, easily accessible! I enjoyed my stay and everything went fine, except the elevtor which wasn't working for a week (8th floor) but thats ulaanbatar.
Good little flat in an old Soviet (website hidden) an interesting side to UB beyond the more modern centre. Zula was incredibly helpful, and always responsive to our demands. Flat was clean and well equipped with fast internet. Nice Indian and Korean restaurants downstairs. Lively neighbourhood at night, but quiet in the flat. Lift seems to malfunction quite often, so you may have a nice work out! Thanks Zula for a great stay!
Enjoyed my staying at this spacious apartmet. Located in a great place, although it's a small city. 10 minutes walk to Chinggis square. But for safety's sake, I recommend the western part of city, since around this place, you can bump into several drunken locals and some of them might be dangerous to foreigners.
Don't forget to close the curtains of the bedroom, for its window heads toward east where the strong sunlight could bother your morning sleep. Nevertheless, honking sounds of commuting cars will wake you up around 8am.
