Nicole's apartment is absolutely brilliant: perfect location, great amenities, very clean and so beautifully designed. Nicole is also a brilliant Host,: extremely accommodating & immensely kind & thoughtful. I found it difficult to leave New York after spending 3 weeks in her apartment & I will be back to stay again very soon. If you are travelling on your own or as a couple to NY, then I strongly recommend that you book Nicole's apartment, as both the host & the apartment are BRIILLIANT ! !
My husband and I stayed at Nicole´s apartment for two weeks, and it was really great! Since our first contact Nicole was very kind, and answered all our questions. The building has very kind doormen, is really clean, and as it has an elevator it´s very easy to carry the luggage up .The apartment is really nice, clean, and luminous, the bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is quite well equipped. In the basement there is a laundry, so we had no problems with cleaning our clothes. The decoration is very nice, Nicole has beautiful plants and there was no noise at the apartment, neither from the street nor from the neighbors. The apartment is very close to the subway, and at a walking distance to almost everything, and the neighborhood is full of restaurants and stores to buy fresh food, Nicole had suggested us one Whole Foods in front of the apartment that is great! We really felt “at home” at Nicole´s, we highly recommend both the cute apartment and she as a perfect host!
It's a real pleasure to visit New York in these conditions !
The apartment is really beautiful. The situation is perfect. A huge wholefood just at the corner of the street (7th ave) and a supermaket at the other corner (8th ave). It's in Chelsea, the most beautiful area of NY. The High Line is far from 15 min by walk and the Hudson River is at 10 min by walk.
Everything was easy to find the apartment, the explanation of the host were clear. The doormen were nice, not completly expressive for some of us but, we don't care. The only annoying point was the entrance from the 24th street cause after 8pm sometimes it's closed. But you could easily enter in the building from the 23th street. Perfect for a couple of 2 persons who need to be in a center of NY.
Nicole was one of the very few who responded to me, communication was very easy from the start. Her studio was just perfect, clean, fully stocked with everything ( toilet paper, towels etc... ) not to mention that bed was so comfortable . Location was central to everything and having Whole Foods right across the street was an added bonus. Thank you Nicole for sharing your place with us!! Hopefully we will be back
This apartment was perfect for our stay in New York. It was a good size with comfy bed and felt just like home. It's in the heart of Chelsea with heaps of great places to eat and interesting streets to wander(we recommend Trailer Park Lounge on 23rd Street for your American food cravings!). There is a Wholefoods market across the street where you can buy great things for dinners! We loved this aprtment and would definitely stay here again and recommend it anyone thinking of heading to New York. Nicole was so friendly and easy to communicate with.....an absolute pleasure! We look forward to stay here in future:)
My swedish cousins came to manhattan for their annual gallery showing and stayed at Nicole's. What a perfect place for them! They had an unforgettable experience and can''t wait to come back next year! Thank you thank you thank you Nicole for making it all possible!
Communication with Nicole was effortless right from the start. As first time visitors and the fact we were arriving late we were a bit antsy but we had all the information we needed and a comprehensive but easy to understand list of the workings of the apartment. The gorgeous girl even left out snacks if we were hungry on our late arrival!
The apartment is spacious and bright. We traveled with our teenager and there was still ample space even with the blow-up mattress out. Loved Nicole's bookshelf and decorating style. Personal enough but not so that we felt we invading someone space. It very much felt our own. Loved having a full size dining table and wifi and oh man, that bed is comfy! Handy shelving in the bathroom meant this traveler who packs too many toiletries was in heaven!
The location is a massive plus. Chelsea is fantastic with so much within walking distance. We found this part of Manhattan to be so well situated in terms of ease of getting around. The nearby subway used frequently but we enjoyed the walking and occasional cab. Located metres from Whole Foods meant on many nights when after being out for the day and not feeling like a restaurant experience, we were able to either purchase fresh food to cook or healthy low cost prepared food.
We enjoyed New York immensely, progressively ticking off our wish list of things to do and see. Should we be lucky enough to travel there again I will DEFINITELY be staying at Nicole's apartment again.
The place is so cozy and the bed so comfortable. The building has kind doormen at anytime. The neighbor is one of the most amazing in the city, close to all the amenities, bar, shops and metro. I would really suggest Nicole's room to a friend.
This apartment was really nice and my stay was absolutely amazing! The apartment was clean and exactly as you see on the photos. It is located in a great location, and it is also very close to 3 great subway lines. Nicole was an amazing host: she was very kind and answered every question that I had. I couldn't ask for a better host and I highly recommend this apartment.
Nicole is the great host. She made everything easy. Firstly, she was in touch all the time when I tried to book her apartment, than before I came to NYC and during my stay she want to confirm if everything is fine.
Secondly, her apartment was well prepared to my visit.
And thirdly, she was so nice and let me check out very late (around 8pm).
The place is located very well. It's close to many shops, restaurants and tourist's places.
I am convinced that the next trip I will start by asking about the possibility of renting Nicole's apartment
