We arrived at the sprawling property right at sunset and decided to take in the beautiful view from the homemade see saw and swing area! Lovely view of the ocean and sand dunes that lay before it in the distance. Ben was welcoming and showed us the common bathroom facility which was very nice and clean. He provided us with directions to a great local BBQ spot and left us some firewood for when we returned. The bed in the tipi was cozy, and we weren't cold at all overnight. Only thing missing was a power supply, an extension cord would have been great so we could have watched movies on our laptop. Would definitely stay here again!
This location is a big acreage of land from a mini farm, huge adult swing set to housing a very awesome tipi! You can either rent their tent or a water house but I would say I'm glad I rented the tipi. It's SECLUDED from everything else. It has it's own area to BBQ or build a fire for s'mores. The bathroom is a bit of a walk but it was a perfect trade off to have a romantic getaway. The host was super awesome, gave us the 411 & history of their home. Would absolutely come back again! This location is also close to everything, couple minutes away from Pismo and SLO. Down the street is an awesome local market too.
This stop on our Hwy 1 road trip takes the cake. All the things to love about sleeping outside, minus all the work, and an ocean view to boot. Absolutely perfect.
My friend and I loved our stay. Laura and Ben are great hosts and all of their animals are just as friendly. The tipi was very comfortable for the two of us. It was very relaxing to sit by a campfire and have a fun night under the stars.
Laura and Ben are delightful hosts. The accommodations in the tipi are excellent and the property is truly fantastic. Make sure to get some time to know the hosts if you get the chance.
even though we came in late Ben and Laura welcome Lydia and I. To the beautiful property
