We had a wonderful stay at this special, beautiful spot surrounded by trees and with amazing mountain and sea views. The tipi was cosy and the fireplace outside it is great at night. Ben and Laura were great hosts; welcoming and helpful. Arroyo Grande has lovely restaurants - Ember is delicious - or you could cook on the fires at Ben and Laura's as it's very well equipped and a great place to spend an evening.

Great time at Ben & Laura's Tipi! The hosts were great, very knowledgable and nice, felt very homie and welcoming! The area is the definition of quaint, secluded full of nature and scenic views. I stopped here on my way to LA with my girlfriend and we had a blast, thank you Laura and Ben!

Thank You, Laura and Ben! This family spread has a ranch/farm feeling to it. Hosting three unique accommodations, Guests share two cleverly constructed, creatively finished and decorated Bath Houses. Delightful details inside and out! Tended as well as wild grounds range from fields of green grass, areas of packed dirt, mulch paths and minimal cement brick and paving. My purposefully solitary retreat was nurtured by the property's wide-open spaces. Last week's 2-night Tee-Pee stay offered a cocoon-like sanctuary for the respite I was seeking. The vista from its front porch included a fire pit furnished with big wooden chairs, a towering eucalyptus tree and in the distance sweeping sand-dunes along Pacific Ocean's coastline. I ate my arrival day meal in what Laura and Ben call their backyard. Open for Guests' use, it felt like an inviting playground, the perfect setting for celebratory BBQ gatherings. One raised-level, complete with antique stove, pots and pans decor, offers a stunning sunset view. Here is where I enjoyed my arrival day dinner while sitting on a cushioned bar stool at a rustic wood table . Backyard's grassy ground and patterned cement brick level offers numerous chair-pairs and a pillowed sofa where I sat with one of their kitties (Snickers) curled up in my lap, reading until it was Tee-Pee turn-in time. This is an incredibly unique 'make yourself at-home' setting off of Hwy 1. Near enough to Pismo, Grover Beach, and Arroyo Grande for a variety of food, beverage and dining choices. One day was dedicated to road tripping up PCH, after Laura hinted that I might enjoy seeing the Elephant Seals. Wowzer! of a beautiful road trip from Ben and Laura's place through Pismo Beach, Morrow Bay, San Simeon to an Elephant Seal experience. Must return for a longer stay to discover more of what's on the Coast. Their property's location is a perfect home-base with welcoming accommodations to go out and explore from. Laura is a lovely Hostess, walked me through the 'where/how' details of hot water for tea/coffee, mini-frig for micro-brew storage, Tee-Pee's lamps and extra blankets. Loved every moment of my time here! Thanks again!

Staying in the TiPi was such a fun experience! The calming sounds of the outdoors and the whimsical feel of sleeping in a lantern lit, canopy netted room provided some of the best sleep I've had in a while! Laura gave us a quick tour of the grounds and was helpful with any questions we had. All the animals are very friendly and greeted us when we arrived and when we explored around the farm. I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy the outdoors and want try something new!
