Ben & Laura were fantastic hosts from the moment we arrived. Ben generously spend time showing us around the property, Laura gave us advice on local choices. Ben started up a fire in the evening for us to enjoy s'mores and good conversation. The tiki was excellent, bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this and will return. If you have doubts, don't.
Wow, Laura and Ben were simply amazing hosts. Very warm and caring people. We stayed in the Tipi on the first night of our honeymoon and it was everything it said it was and more. The entire property is enchanting and romantic. Such an incredible find! We'll be back! -Phil & Laura Beebe
My 2 guests from Latvia & I stayed at Laura's airbnb after a long day driving down the coast. Even though we arrived late & tired Laura welcomed us warmly & helped us settle into our cozy & comfortable beds. My guests very much enjoyed the very special experience of sleeping in an American Indian Tipi. Waking up to the beauty of the place was a special joy--all the many animals & many plants are all so well loved that harmony radiates everywhere! Either walking around or sitting outside one quickly attunes to this natural happiness.
Really lovely place. Pictures don't do it justice! Lots to do and see. Very nice and friendly people. Everything you could want is provided - have to enjoy the company of animals (cats especially)
Place was beyond magical, I highly recommend it, all kinds of delightful things to get into!
What a magical place! I was exhausted after a long and "stressful" drive along side Highway 1, and particularly Big Sur, and it was a delight to arrive to such fantastic place! Your head will spin with all attention to detail in that farm!
You can see the hosts truly love that place and the place transpires love! Love for the animals - you got horses, chickens, cats and dogs! Love for preserving old things - like the cool remade water tower. And the love inside Laura and Ben heart! They're super friendly! Thanks Ben for helping setting up the fire! :-)
I don't think the description is accurate. It is far too humble! :-) I was expecting a less comfy place and instead, I got a super comfortable bed inside the tipi, a cosy fire ring with chairs and an amazing common area!
Location is good, just on Highway 1 after Pismo and Grover Beaches. Easy to find!
What a great place. We very much enjoyed our short stay in the tipi en route up the coast. Pizza and a steak place nearby in case you don't have your cooking utensils for the fire. Bring marshmallows though. Bathroom was a short walk and in great order - towels, hot shower etc. loved it
