We (2 friends and I) stayed here for 3 nights using it as a base for the Electric Picnic music festival around 20kms away. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The house is spotlessy clean and has everything you could want or need. Brendan is an absolute gentleman and gave us a lift to the festival on one of the days and even lent us some boots to wear when the weather turned for the worse. Brendan and Fi left us plenty of food including full breakfast which was most welcome. I am delighted to recommend this house and the hosts who own it as absolutely 5* in everything they do!

Absolutely perfect, 5 of us stayed for a competition in Ireland and it was ideal from the moment we met our host (he came and met us close to the house so we could find it easily first time) and welcomed into a clean and comfortable with a lovely stash of brew making materials and food for breakfast. The hose was quiet, private, clean and comfortable. We were left to do our own thing but bendan was just a knock on the door away for and problems and was great company too! We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Brendan was very welcoming with a wonderful starter food pack as well. My husband is gluten intolerant and Brendan even made allowances for this. He was so helpful with suggestions and directions to some wonderful locations for us to visit. He also took us to a traditional Irish bog and explained to us how they use it for their fires in winter, he gave up his own time to do this and in his own vehicle. We had an amazing experience with Brendan and also thank you for the black puddings.

My family and I had an incredible time in Nurney. The house was great, it was very clean and cosy, and had all the conveniences one could hope for. After a long drive it really felt like coming home. Even better was the help we got from Brendan, who was the greatest most generous host and helped us find our way in Ireland. His suggested trips and the best ways to get there were much appreciated. We will all remember this vacation and this house very fondly, I already miss the dogs! Esther, Sanne, Matthijs, Isabelle and Josephine from the Netherlands

My wife, my oldest daughter and I have spent six wonderful days in Fi and Brendan´s house, exploring Mid and East Ireland. We have really felt like home , the cottage was spotless, cosy and comfortable, provided with everything you can need and more. As Brendan told us , the fridge was filled with a " starter food pack" , much more than we had in six days´ breakfast. This is a remarkable detail, unusual when you rent a house. But the best thing of our stay has been Brendan´s hospitality, he is the kindest person and an excellent host. He has helped us in everything we needed and has given us some good ideas about places to visit to add to ours . He even showed us the bog, where the turf is collected, and the Holy Well, two special places for him that we´ll always remember. Thank you so much to Brendan , Fi and Ben ( and Snowy and Chester, their lovely dogs) , it has been a real pleasure to meet you.

Thank you for sharing your home with us, we had a fantastic stay and were very grateful for the welcome and hospitality you showed us. And a special thanks to your son for allowing the children to share his toys, the go-kart was one of the highlights of their holiday!

I live in rural Kildare which is about an hour from Dublin.
I know the area well because I was raised in the local parish.
Our house is next to the one advertised and we have 2 pet dogs.
Kildare is within easy travelling distance to race courses [Curragh, Punchestown and Naas] and scenic attractions. We are just an hour away from the famous Glendalough, 10 minutes from the Market Town of Athy and close to Kildare and Newbridge. The area is steeped in history. The Japanese Gardens and the Irish National Stud along with Kildare Village Outlet Shopping are located adjacent to Kildare town.
