I relocated here from California eight years ago and am still navigating the winters! I did, however, grow up in NYC and spent all of my summers at camp in the Berkshires. I knew that the magic of this place would someday find it's way back into my life and it has. An animal lover who trusts the intuitive nature and therapeutic benefits of horses, I opened Berkshire HorseWorks , a 501c3 nonprofit providing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Life Skill Development for those at risk in the community and Equine Assisted Team building for businesses of all kinds looking to build cohesion and problem-solve. Community service is in my heart which is why I scaled back my public relations company after 20 years to focus on this venture. Been rumored to make an amazing fire after a day on the slopes, courts ,trails or yoga mat.... or of course after a day in the paddocks with the seven member herd. I am a laid back host who respects your privacy but is here to accommodate any special requests. Always available to provide dining or entertainment recommendations or share my washer dryer with friends! If you have a hankering to go for a trail ride or have some horse or donkey time of another kind we will try to accommodate right here on premises.
