  • A great little place! It's decorated really well and comes with everything you need. Really well maintained and clean. Great area on LES. Host was really helpful.

  • Really nice bright apartment in a fantastic location. Clean and nicely decorated. The banging in the night didn't bother is too much (but maybe that was the cocktails from the bar across the road).

Not the friendliest airbnb booking I've ever had. A lot of rules about what we couldn't do especially as we had a baby. Don't expect a welcome pint of milk etc.

But we were an hour late because our flight was delayed and he was fantastic at waiting and a really nice guy to chat to for the brief time we were there.

    I'd definitely recommend it.

  • Excellent location, I was told by friends to stay in the LES area and I'm glad that we did. Lovely coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and close to the subway.

The apartment was clean and roomy for just the two of (website hidden) met us on time and was very welcoming and offered advice on where to go and eat etc.

The only negative thing we experienced was the plumbing. I had read reviews (after booking) and saw that others had experienced the noisy pipework. I imagine that it is a big thing to sort out as I'm sure that it would be unbearable to live there on a permanent basis and experience this noise so often. It must be audible in other apartments also.

We had good ear plugs, so after the first night the pipes were dulled. But I was awoken several times during the night because of the banging.

Would I recommend staying here? Not if you're a light sleeper. But get some good earplugs and you'll be fine.

Everything else is great and overall was a very pleasant stay.

  • Pros - great location, near to subway, Chinatown and nightlife. Very comfy bed, apartment just as in photos.

Cons - clanging pipes for heating, shower and water pressure were poor.

Tenement museum across the road were great and held our luggage for us for the day until it was time to leave, which was a real bonus!

  • This was my first Airbnb stay and it worked out seamlessly. The space was clean, spacious, and exactly what I expected.

As some of the other reviews mentioned there is some pretty loud plumbing noises that go on so I would definitely recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Bed is on the firmer side, but comfortable enough.

I would absolutely book this apartment again and recommend it to others.

  • Mk was an amazing host. There was a snow storm, and my arrival plans kept changing, and he was very accommodating.

The home itself, looks exactly like the photos. Great space, clean, and the location is ideal for those who love downtown. Steps away from the subway, and plenty of hip restaurants and bars around the corner.

I'd stay here again in heartbeat.

  • Gorgeous apt. No view but u don't need one to enjoy a stay in this apt. Best location in city. Late Checkin is not an easy process.

  • We had an awesome time at this lovely apartment. It was more spacious than we expected and in a great location. The host was very responsive and helped us out for an earlier check in. We appreciated the help. If I come to NYC again I would definitely stay here again.
