Two-room apartment, bright and fully furnished, close to the old town center in Assisi. Independent access, private parking, two-bed bedroom, living room with davenport, kitchen. In a strategic position, reachable with the public transportation.
We have the advantages of living in the center without its problems: easy access and a parking spot. 2000 m of private olive grove bordering with the historical walls . This was no holiday home: the two-room apartments downstairs are perfectly furnished and fitted with accessories. The furniture belonged to our family for a long time. We live on the top floor.
Perfectly reachable with public transportation: the bus for the train station stops at 100 m from here. You cannot go inside of the city walls with your car, unless you want to get fined, but you will have a private parking spot just outside of them. For the people coming by plane, we can agree on meeting you at the Perugia airport, (flights from London and Brussels) that is 15 minutes away by car.
Interaction with Guests
We will help you discover the beauty of Umbria, recommend you known and less known destinations, events and hikes.
Assisi is worth the trip: a town of history, faith, art, a symbol of peace for the still living presence of St. Francis, it's in the very center of Umbria, the green heart of Italy. From here you can reach other pearls of the region like Spoleto, Spello, Perugia, Todi, Gubbio, Bevagna, Orvieto, Montefalco, Norcia, the Trasimeno lake and many more, as well as Firenze, Roma, Arezzo, Urbino, the Frasassi caves and many more.
A comfortable escalator goes up to Porta Nuova, access through the city walls to St. Claire's church and the main square. The sanctuary of St. Damian is also at a 15-minute walk from here. To reach St. Francis' church is a little longer but wonderful walk one can decide to shorten by taking the urban bus.
