The perfect location - in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to everything in downtown Bethesda. Having a stroll up to the park or around the area is a daily pleasure, and going to farmer's markets, listening to street musicians, and checking out quaint shops nearby can easily fill the day. There are a number of health clubs and yoga studios nearby. The Bethesda swimming pool is about a 20-minute walk along the trail.
Red line metro. Bus to Silver Spring. There is also the Bethesda Trolley bus that runs for free all around downtown Bethesda. Easy off-street or on-street parking at the house.
Follow Montgomery county recycling program, and weekly curbside trash. This is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Dryer lint screen must be kept clean.
Well-located and convenient to downtown Bethesda and the metro if you want to explore DC and are unable to drive. We really liked the neighborhood with easy access to the Capital Crescent Trail. Suzanne was very accommodating and responsive. The house is modest, but had everything we needed during our stay.
We were very happy with our stay in Bethesda. Suzanne was very helpful with sharing ideas for places to eat and visit. The house was close to the subway so we didn't need to rent a car. It was a quiet neighborhood and very walkable. The house was just as described. We had teenagers with us and they enjoyed the stay. The house was ready for us when we arrived. Although we did not meet Suzanne, she called a few times to make sure everything was well. It was a good location for a visit to DC.
Suzanne's house was perfect! My parents stayed here for a few weeks while visiting Bethesda and loved being able to walk to town so easily. Suzanne also came by to shovel the driveway when it snowed and was a gracious hostess in every way. I highly recommend this house!
Me and my family (including two kids-five and two years old) really enjoyed our stay with Suzanne in Bethesda. The house was in a quiet and safe area with a great playground just up the street. Walking to my work at the NIH took me around 20 minutes. Suzanne was very kind and helpful.
We loved our stay at Suzanne's home in Bethesda. The location was in a wonderful, safe neighborhood, within walking distance to the metro and to shopping and restaurants. We especially loved the fireplace and making the house "ours" for Christmas.
Suzanne was the perfect host. Being there to introduce us to the house and being available through text messages when we had questions. The rest of the time we enjoyed family, friends and the holiday.
We wouldn't hesitate to rent this home again, the next time we visit the DC area.
My family and I (three kids ages 5,3, and 1) had a wonderful stay in Bethesda with Suzanne. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen fully functioning. It was in such a lovely neighborhood with a great playground a block away. The Metro was nearby which made our trips to the Smithsonian very convenient. She even had a small toy stash that my children had fun with. We have family in Bethesda, so we are looking forward to staying with Suzanne the next time we visit!
We loved our stay!!! Thank you Suzanne for all your help. The house is beautiful, in a great location and the price is very reasonable.
The place was super clean and was fully equipped. Suzanne was very kind and took care of every request made. I totally recommend this place for your stay in the Washington DC area.
From Seattle, WA now living in metro DC. With many productive years under my belt working with NPR, I now head up another creative non-profit organization - this one in the visual arts. I love to draw and paint but my passion is tennis, and finding and welcoming guests into this peaceful home, situated in the heart of Bethesda, is always a joy.
