Cassandra'a apartment is idealy located in the centre of Roma : Pantheon is at 5 mns by walk, Fontana di Trevi or Piazza Navona at less then 10 mns... In 5 full days, we could visit all key sites of Roma with our 3 children. We only took the taxi twice : once for Vatican and one for Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano. The apartment is ideal for 5 people, it is very clean with nice ancient furniture and very quiet even if located in the heart of the city. Several supermarkets (Spar, Carrefour...) are close in the neighborhood, one very good italian restaurant at 50 mns (good pasta and pizza to eat there or take away). We strongly recommend the apartment and Cassandra is very friendly by sending a lot of useful advice before your stay.
This was my first experience with airbnb and it was terrific. Cassandra was a great host and her apartment is spacious (especially for European standards) and in a terrific location. After spending five days in hotel rooms in Venice and Florence, it was nice to have a base camp that felt more like home. Cassandra made sure to have some basics like milk, water and cereal ready when we arrived. There is a grocery store just down the street as well. We ate out most of the time, but it was nice to be able to have our breakfast at the apartment before departing for the day. However, the kitchen is definitely well-equipped should you want to cook at home and enjoy one of Cassandra's two balconies.
We spend nice 5 day in Cassandra flat either if the weather was not the best. The flat is realy nice and Cassandra a wonderfull host.
Thank you, Cassandra. She is a gem of a hostess. She went above and beyond in helping us with arrangements and local information. She even cautioned us our arrival in Rome on December 31 might make dinner reservations difficult. She made our reservation (including advancing the deposit) at a local restaurant, which turned out to be excellent and a good value. The apartment is clean and provided nice space for 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and a 10 year old granddaughter. We recommend this apartment. We really did not use the kitchen, but it was equipped and clean. The location is wonderful for walking to major attractions. The balcony area is a real nice bonus! The elevator holds two people and works just fine. The building is old, interesting, and well maintained.
Cassandra helped us with airport transport for our departure, even though she was vacationing in the USA during our visit. She called us at the time of our arrival to be sure all was going well and that the substitute host was addressing our needs. Cassandra knows how to host travelers. Thank you!

My family and I stayed in Cassandra's apartment over Christmas for around 7 days. The apartment has a lovely layout, with room for you to retreat to your bedroom but then come out and socialise in the living, kitchen, dining and either of the balconies! It is very quiet and has a great view of the Pantheon and city skyline. We had a couple of minor hiccups on our arrival but Cassandra was incredibly helpful and quick to sort out our needs right away. She was always available to communicate! This is a great apartment if you really want to live in the city as well. We cooked regularly, which was easy and fun to do. Overall we had an excellent stay, highly recommend.
Great stay in the apartment. Everything was clean as the way it is advertised. Even though Cassandra could not let me in herself, everything was arranged and I had no delays.
Also thankful for tips and info on what to do in the neighborhood.
Would love to come again...
We stayed at Cassandra's apartment for 11 days over Christmas and New Years - Rome was a fabulous place to ring in 2013! From the start Cassandra was incredibly helpful - and we really enjoyed the apartment. It was very well maintained, full of light, the balconies were wonderful, and the kitchen was just the right size to cook for four people. The location of the apartment is stellar and Cassandra was kind enough to make recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores, etc. It's incredibly central and easy to get to the Foro Romano, Piazza Navona, Campo Fiori and the Pantheon is barely two blocks away! Her apartment is a wonderful place to enjoy Rome!
We stayed in Cassandra's apartment the first week of October 2012. The apt. is located in a marvelous location in the historical district. All historical sites are in walking distance if you enjoy walking. The apartment is very nice with a well equipped kitchen. The two patios, one offering views and one offering privacy, are quite lovely. Cassandra communicates very well with potential renters..After a long day of enjoying the sites of Rome it was a pleasure to come back to this beautiful quite apt. Highly recommend this rental...
