Lovely well-appointed and fully-furnished 110-square meter fourth floor attic apartment in Rome’s historic center, just steps from the Pantheon. Bright and airy feel. Three bedrooms (spacious master bedroom with television, character-filled guest bedroom and smaller kid’s style guest bedroom); one and a half bathrooms; open plan kitchen, dining space and living room with large flat-screen television and working fireplace; wireless internet available; two terraces (the large, internal terrace has a dining table and lounge chairs, while the more intimate breakfast terrace has views onto the Pantheon’s famous dome). Elevator building with door man located in bustling, charming neighborhood a stone’s throw from bars, restaurants, cafes, Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori. Bus and tram service just beyond the front door; Metro B a short bus ride away. Great for a group of friends. Non-smokers only. Please contact me before requesting a reservation.
In my very humble opinion, my apartment is cheerful, warm and inviting. I have worked hard to ensure that it offers modern comfort and that it gives off a stylish vibe. The white decor provides an additional edge. It is for these reasons that I request my guests to treat my place not like a hotel room, but like their home away from home. It is also for these reasons that I ask guests to abide by a few simple principles:
1) No feet on the furniture.
2) All windows and doors should be closed and locked when you leave the apartment; shutters should be closed as well if you're spending the night out/away.
3) I will leave some start up provisions in the kitchen for guests, including water, cereal, milk, coffee, etc, but the other items in my pantry are off limits, please.
4) If you damage or break something, please alert me as soon as you can.
5) Please try to keep the place tidy. Depending on the length of your stay, if we agree ahead of time, my cleaning lady may come in during your visit to freshen things up.
6) I have severe allergies and asthma. Therefore, my apartment is a no-smoking zone. This includes the terraces. Please no smoking anywhere on the property.
7) My neighbors are very reserved people. Guests are thus asked to keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb them.
8) While I want you to feel at home and enjoy, please be gentle on my place...it's beautiful and I'd like to keep it that way.
This was my first AirBnB experience, and it was a good one. The apartment was clean, and as described. The neighborhood was safe, and walkable to all the major sites (Vatican, Colosseum, etc) and numerous restaurants. I did not actually meet Cassandra, but her housekeeper was available if needed, and I was able to contact Cassandra through text messaging.
We were running 2 hours later than our planned arrival time (as I was not feeling well) and Cassandra's wonderful housekeeper Diana stayed until we arrived to welcome us to the apartment!
(Also - easy to find apartment)
The apartment is just gorgeous. Looks exactly like the photos. Clean, immaculate and beautifully decorated. It felt like home away from home. Diana showed us around - she was just lovely and we also got to meet her husband. The apartment worked well with our three teenage boys as plenty of space. The outdoor space is a great retreat for a glass of wine.
We couldn't believe how quiet the place was considering we were in the middle of Rome. The location worked well as we were able to walk everywhere.
I would highly recommend staying here!!
Thanks Cassandra once again!
Kind regards Denise &Rick
Beautiful attic in the heart of Rome: calm, spacious and very convenient to visit Rome. Despite its central position, it's very quiet at night and really few sounds are getting from outside. The apartment is exactly as seen in the pictures: sunny, spacious and with two very nice balconies.
Cassandra is a very helpful host, providing hints about where to go and places to eat.
Good experience to repeat.
Cassandra'a apartment is idealy located in the centre of Roma : Pantheon is at 5 mns by walk, Fontana di Trevi or Piazza Navona at less then 10 mns... In 5 full days, we could visit all key sites of Roma with our 3 children. We only took the taxi twice : once for Vatican and one for Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano. The apartment is ideal for 5 people, it is very clean with nice ancient furniture and very quiet even if located in the heart of the city. Several supermarkets (Spar, Carrefour...) are close in the neighborhood, one very good italian restaurant at 50 mns (good pasta and pizza to eat there or take away). We strongly recommend the apartment and Cassandra is very friendly by sending a lot of useful advice before your stay.
This was my first experience with airbnb and it was terrific. Cassandra was a great host and her apartment is spacious (especially for European standards) and in a terrific location. After spending five days in hotel rooms in Venice and Florence, it was nice to have a base camp that felt more like home. Cassandra made sure to have some basics like milk, water and cereal ready when we arrived. There is a grocery store just down the street as well. We ate out most of the time, but it was nice to be able to have our breakfast at the apartment before departing for the day. However, the kitchen is definitely well-equipped should you want to cook at home and enjoy one of Cassandra's two balconies.
We spend nice 5 day in Cassandra flat either if the weather was not the best. The flat is realy nice and Cassandra a wonderfull host.

I love to travel! But after my globetrotting, I always exhale when I return to the Eternal City, my adopted home. And I look forward to having a chance to welcome you to my apartment in the heart of Rome so that you, too, can enjoy all that this wonderful destination has to offer.
