km from Gallipoli and a15-minute drive from the Lido Pizzo, Punta della Suina and
Baia Verde beaches.
The building dating back to the end of the 18th century has recently been renovated
to emphasize the use of space and original features of that period. It extends over three levels connected by external staircases. Access is from a street parallel to the main street which has all necessary commodities

The space
Walking through the front door, one finds oneself in a small private courtyard
from which one can access a romantic suite (35m²), a former stable with food
troughs. It is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a large
bathtub with shower.
It is also equipped with a Fan Coil unit (hot / cold), TV and wi-fi.
The main floor can be accessed by an original Lecce stone staircase. The main floor
is characterized by typical high vaulted ceilings and original floors of
cocciopesto and cementine, building materials used at the time.
There are three bedrooms:
-the "Mignano" (meaning: courtyard facing external balcony) room with en-suite
bathroom with a large shower; it features a small terrace overlooking both the
courtyard and the access road.
- the "Camino" (fireplace) room which leads out onto a shaded terrace.
- the "Corso" room overlooking the village’s main street.
All rooms in the house are equipped with a Fan Coil unit (hot / cold) and wi-fi.
In the spacious living room there is a flat screen TV, a Blu-ray DVD and a bluetooth sound bar.
The kitchen with a groin vault ceiling, is fully equipped including an induction hob.
It leads to a light well that takes you, via an external staircase, to the second floor
where there is a wonderful large rooftop sundeck complete with relaxation area,
stone built kitchen with barbecue, wi-fi and a shower.

Neighborhood highlights

The building is situated in the historical centre of Parabita, an old district of the Salentino hinterland.
It is an intimate place far from mundanity and chaos, where guests can completely immerse themselves in village life surrounded by friendly and sincere hospitality.
Salento doesn’t only offer magnificent marinas: the fascinating art, culture of good food and determination of the “Salentini” to keep their traditions alive with their village feasts and celebrations, makes this place a worthwhile experience.
Parabita is an excellent base from which one can discover Salento: Gallipoli and its splendid beaches or La Signorile Galatina with its churches and stately mansions are only 15 minutes away. It is slightly more than 30 minutes away from Lecce with its tribute to the Baroque period or the Adriatic coast: Not to be missed are Otranto, Santa Maria di Leuca and Castro.
