Cute flat in Dieffenbachstrasse in the heart of Kreuzberg area in Dieffenbach strasse. One street away from the canal, the Admiral Brücke or Kottbuser brücke. The area is famous for its cool and alternative bars, clubs and restaurants. (We can give some advise of our favourite place on request.) One block away from the famous market of Maybachufer. The metro (Schönleinstrasse) is at 5min walk: line U8 will bring you to Alexanderplatz and the museum area in a few stops. The flat is at the 4th floor in the courtyard of the house, so it is really very calm. It is a 35 m2 open space with a bedroom and a kitchen/dining room. It also has a big bathroom with bathtube and washing machine. The flat was freshly renovated so it is completely clean and conveniently made for vacation stays. It has free WIFI Internet. Quite important for the freezy winter: it has a good central heating and good isolation. The flat is ideal for 2 persons but there is possibility of an extra bed for a 3rd person (10 euro extra per day). There are some cheap bike rental shop in the street.
Stephane's apartment was brilliant for a few days away as a couple. Check in was swift and easy, the location was brilliant and close to bars/food and the U bahn lines 7 + 8. Stephane provided lots of great tips and local knowledge about the area. The apartment had everything we needed and we can't wait to go back and stay again. Thanks Stephane!!
What a holiday! We had a great time in Berlin, and in your lovely flat! Perfect location.
I did not get to meet Stephane, but his friend greeted my partner and me to hand off the keys. The flat is quaint and simple but a good resting place after a long day of exploring. There was quite a bit of water damage on the ceiling, but but we were assured it would be fixed after sufficient time was allowed for it to dry completely first. Although it was a bit of an eye sore during our stay, functionally it did not bother us at all! The heater in the living area does not work, but the heater in the washroom is strong enough to heat the entire flat. There was half a roll of toilet paper left in the washroom, so eventually we needed to buy some more. It wasn't a big deal; there was a grocery store near by. The neighbourhood that the flat was situated in has an eclectic mix of shops and cafes.
Stephane's apartment was minimalistic but cozy. It had all the essentials and it is located in a very nice area of Kreutzberg and Berlin. No complaints and warmly recommended.
