Interaction with Guests
You will have the whole place to yourself, but feel free to give me a call if you need anything at all! I know the city really well and love sharing things to do, amazing restaurants to try at affordable prices and little gems most New Yorkers don't know about!
The apartment is minutes from Tribeca, Soho, Little Italy and Wall Street and in the heart of one of the most exciting and often talked about neighborhoods in the world - where history is often made and filmed in movies.
Take a stroll through history right downstairs and take in the sun at Zuccotti Park and admire New York's iconic sites like the Trinity Church and the World Trade Center and the Statue of Liberty. You'll have immediate access to top attractions like the Rockefeller Plaza, 5th Avenue shopping, amazing cheap eats like Totto Ramen and Shake Shack or Michelin dining like Per Se and Eleven Madison Park. With a great network of subways just around the corner, you'll get to the far ends of New York in no time. Just nearby you'll be close to great restaurants like Luke's Lobster and The Capital Grille.
You won't find another place as modern, clean, quiet, has such amazing access to greenery and yet so connected to everything else. I look forward to meeting you and making your stay one of the best you've had.
My apartment is just 3 minutes from the subway stations that service the 1,2,3,4,5,N,R,A,C,J,Z trains (virtually every train line in NYC). There is parking just 3 minutes away as well.

Lovely spacious, comfortable appartment. Great host, lots of communication. Had an issue with a blind and it was fixed instantly which was great. Easy meet up to collect keys and was provided with lots of useful information. Everything was as described in the description. Appartment is in Downtown Manhattan and easy to get anywhere in the city. Fulton street tube a couple of minutes away which has access to lots of lines. Very close to TriBeCa which we regularly walked to as lots of lovely restaurants. Highly recommend, would def book again when next visiting New York.
The luxury condo was as it is described. Very nice condo in heart of financial district. My wife and I felt welcome. The luxury condo had more amenities and comfort than 4 star hotels. It is located in walking distance to lots of historic buildings, museum, boat rides and attractions. We definitely would recommend it and go back again when in New York. The location was perfect for us it is perfect for tourist wanting to see great sides of New York.
The location is fantastic -- close to the 9/11 museum, the waterfront, Wall Street, and all that downtown offers. It's a very new property -- so quiet that we did not see a single other person in the building during our two day stay.
Check in was fairly easy. We had to wait about 10 minutes with our luggage in a moderately crowded Starbucks for Gladys, who was very welcoming. The property wasn't quite ready; but Gladys quickly got beds made and everything in order. During our stay, we didn't have any contact with the owner.
The property, on the 16th floor, doesn't seem to be owner-occupied, but exists solely as an AirBnB rental, so it's sparkly clean and pristine. Our son slept on the sofa bed, which he thought very comfortable. Internet service was reliable and fast, which is a must when traveling with a teen. My husband appreciated the washer/dryer as well.
For us, the only minor downside was that, unlike with a hotel, we couldn't stash our luggage after check out (our flight wasn't until 9PM), and the recommended luggage storage places are all the way in Midtown. (Later, we did discover luggage storage at Penn Station, which is also not close but convenient if you're catching the train to the airport -- just something to keep in mind if you have a late flight). Also, a temporary inconvenience is that there aren't blinds or curtains on the bedroom window, which looks directly into busy offices.
But that stuff is all minor. I'd like to emphasize that the accommodations are, overall, lovely, perfectly located, and a great deal.
Ian and the hostess were awesome!! Very welcoming!! The apartment was phenomenal. Beautiful balcony views!!! Highly recommended!!
It was a lovely apartment and I had a very good time. The host were very friendly and helpful. Amazing view and the apartment is even better than the photos posted. I will definitely recommend to those people who want to have a typical Manhattan experience while in nyc.
Ian is very systematic and all information required for the workings of the apartment is made readily available before the stay which is very helpful. The location is amazing! It is smack in the middle of the Financial District and very close to Ground Zero and some shopping. The lift opens straight into the apartment and the views are fabulous. Also it is pretty quiet so we were not troubled by the outside noise. There was a mild problem with the blinds but we didn’t have any use for it anyway. We enjoyed having a washer/dryer within the apartment as well as an espresso machine. The amenities in the apartment are great. The futon that opens into the bed is very comfortable and so is the bed in the master bedroom. Gladys was very helpful during the stay as well. Living in Ian’s apartment for the brief moment was a very Sex And The City experience for us and we enjoyed it thoroughly.
The apartment was clean & nicely furnished. Ian & Gladys were delightful to work with & picking up/dropping off the keys was very easy. Loved the private elevator and giant kitchen!

I've been to 42 countries so far and New York still remains one of my favorite places in the world. The breath and depth of experiences you get here is just amazing, it makes you feel alive. I love taking walks around neighborhoods and discovering little gems - coffee houses, tucked away gardens and the unique architecture of buildings past.
Some of my passions include reading about startups, photography, architecture, road biking, listening to classical music and traveling.
