Interaction with Guests
You will have the whole place to yourself, but feel free to give me a call if you need anything at all! I know the city really well and love sharing things to do, amazing restaurants to try at affordable prices and little gems most New Yorkers don't know about!
The apartment is minutes from Tribeca, Soho, Little Italy and Wall Street and in the heart of one of the most exciting and often talked about neighborhoods in the world - where history is often made and filmed in movies.
Take a stroll through history right downstairs and take in the sun at Zuccotti Park and admire New York's iconic sites like the Trinity Church and the World Trade Center and the Statue of Liberty. You'll have immediate access to top attractions like the Rockefeller Plaza, 5th Avenue shopping, amazing cheap eats like Totto Ramen and Shake Shack or Michelin dining like Per Se and Eleven Madison Park. With a great network of subways just around the corner, you'll get to the far ends of New York in no time. Just nearby you'll be close to great restaurants like Luke's Lobster and The Capital Grille.
You won't find another place as modern, clean, quiet, has such amazing access to greenery and yet so connected to everything else. I look forward to meeting you and making your stay one of the best you've had.
My apartment is just 3 minutes from the subway stations that service the 1,2,3,4,5,N,R,A,C,J,Z trains (virtually every train line in NYC). There is parking just 3 minutes away as well.

Perfect place for two people visiting New York. Ian and Gladys were very responsive both by phone and in person. Great space, clean, modern, comfortable. We are already making our return reservation in October.
Excellent neighborhood and great space with only apartment on floor. Very quiet, spacious and comfortable. Ian provided excellent and comprehensive instructions and was very responsive. Loved the Nespresso machine - nice touch! Thank you, Ian and Gladys!
Ian's place was perfect for my business trip to NY. Easy to travel to, easy to access (elevator opens right into the apartment), very spacious and comfortable. It's very secure as well. The espresso maker in the kitchen was a huge bonus. There are lots of food carts with great selection right outside the building, and it's only a few blocks from the subway system and Wall St. Other great features: well stocked, clean linens, washer+dryer inside the apartment, ample work space & closet space, very comfortable bed, and it was surprisingly quiet inside.
I thoroughly enjoyed the balcony areas on both sides of the space.
Ian was very responsive to any inquiry I had. A few questions came up during my stay, and he quickly answered & resolved them. The check in/out processes were straightforward and clear. I highly recommend this place to stay in NY, and will definitely stay here again when I go back.

Living in Manhattan was one thing, living in this apt, was totally another! Any where else that we will stay, we will always compare it to this! We had a long term stay and it was very well hosted and all needs paid heed to on an urgent basis. Thank you so much for our lovely stay!

About the Host, Ian
I grew up in Asia, went to college in the States and have been in New York for the past two years.
I've been to 42 countries so far and New York still remains one of my favorite places in the world. The breath and depth of experiences you get here is just amazing, it makes you feel alive. I love taking walks around neighborhoods and discovering little gems - coffee houses, tucked away gardens and the unique architecture of buildings past.
Some of my passions include reading about startups, photography, architecture, road biking, listening to classical music and traveling.
