We rent a studio in an old, stylish Ticino house with beautiful views of Lake Maggiore 10 minutes from Locarno. The studio has a separate entrance, a private bathroom and small kitchen, as well as a private terrace. The covered balcony with the great view can be shared and invites you in summer as well as in winter, day and night.

The space
The place is stylishly and cozily furnished. Guests reported that they immediately felt at home.
The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need. An Italian espresso machine with coffee, a coffee machine for Delizio capsules, as well as a kettle for various teas is available free of charge. There is also a minibar with some regional drinks and wine. There is also a caquelon for fondue.
The room has a dining table, a sofa and a double bed (160 cm).
Room height 188-200 cm.

Other things to note
We live in the same house and are there for our guests to welcome them, during their stay, for questions, as well as for check-out.

Directions
Our place is easily accessible by public transport. From Locarno to Brione s.M. take bus no. 3 or 4 and 312. The journey takes about 15 minutes.
For travelers by car, there is a parking space above the house for check-in. There are free parking spaces on the street or the paid parking garage, both within a 5-minute walk.
Our place is also within walking distance of Locarno train station in approx. 45 minutes.

Excursion destinations and events
There are numerous beautiful hikes and excursion destinations. The most famous are probably:
Locarno Piazza Grande, Ascona lake promenade, Orselina church Madonna del Sasso, cable car to Cardada and Cimetta. Verzascatal: Staumauer, arch bridge in Lavertezzo, Lido and Spa Locarno
Markets in: Cannobio, Luino, Sonogno
Locarno Film Festival, Moon and Stars

Shopping in Brione s.M. is available at the Centrale Restaurant, which can be reached on foot in 2 minutes, fresh croissants, bread, butter, milk, jam, spaghetti, sauces, cheese etc.
With us, you can stock up on honey from our bees or canned goods from our garden in the farm shop

Larger shopping in Minusio, 5 minutes by car or bus and
200 meter walk: Migros, Coop, Denner, pharmacy, post office, bank

Restaurants and grottos are nearby and are even within walking distance.
