I am happy to help with directions or suggestions for fun places the neighborhood and city have to offer as well.
Crown Heights is a neighborhood in the central portion of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The main thoroughfare through this neighborhood is Eastern Parkway, a tree-lined boulevard extending 2 miles (3.2 kilometres) east-west. Easter Parkway is also where you can catch transit and do your shopping as well.

Aiesha was super nice with us, and the place was really clean and tidy. This is ideal for someone on a budget who only needs a bed to crash at night. Would totally come back.
Aiesha is really nice n friendly, also the room is clean and comfortable, I really enjoyed the time I spent there, everything is perfect!!
I don't understand why these people comment so well here. When I got to this place after 15 minutes walk from the subway station, I was so disappointed. Its cheap, so I didn't have any high expectation, but the room is to small, and no air inside to breath!!! Besides, the neighbors to this room is strange guys, I don't think I could stay there a single night alone with two big men and another woman to share the no fresh air room. I called Aiesha, she wasn't there then, and talked about this with her, she just said everything was on the picture...And she refused to give any money back to me. I lost about $100 there. My lesson is never choose the cheapest room to save money!!!
Yage was very demanding and if you look at her reviews you will see I am not the only one who feels this way. I sent her a message weeks before her arrival stating that I would not be home when she arrived and that I would leave keys in a place she could find them. This message also gave directions on who to contact when she arrived (my roommate) and how to get into the room that is accurately photographed in my add. My roommate told me that when she arrived Yage pushed passed her and proceeded into my neighbors apartment. She called me from there and was crying when she described to me an apartment that didn't match the picture. When I realized she wasn't at my place I reiterated the directions that I had send her in a message weeks ago. My roommate told me Yage walked into the doorway of the aparment and sat on the couch crying about how she couldn't stay after she peaked her head into the room. The two men she spoke of in her review were a young international student and a married man traveling on business, both of whom I spoke with at length before pre-approving. They we're very nice, educated, and respectful people who don't deserve what she said about them. She didn't even meet or talk to these people before passing a snap judgment on them. I didn't refund her money because she didn't cancel online. So I was unable to book in her place the entire time she was supposed to be at my house and wasn't. I called airbnb support several times to ask them to explain it to her so that she could get a partial refund and she repeatedly refused to answer their calls or mine.
This was the second time I've stayed at this place, and I liked it better this time. Everything was clean, the bathroom doorknob has been fixed, and Aiesha and all the other guests were very friendly. People do smoke inside the house, so you may want to let Aiesha know if you have asthma or other conditions that may be aggravated by smoke. All in all, a great place to stay, especially for the price.
Aiesha's place is great for anyone looking to explore New York at a reasonable price and comfortable accomodation. Easy subway access 24/7, many cheap food options close by, nice warm place with really cool people! You should definetly consider her place!
The listing is accurate and this is a great value place! I enjoyed my stay, Aiesha was welcoming and it suited my purposes. I didn't spend much time around the property though because there is so much to do in New York!

About the Host, Aiesha
Aiesha is my name. I make a career in musical theater and support it teaching fitness classes and personal training sessions. I decided to rent out my space because I have it, and I know what it's like to travel on a budget. Beyond that I like having guests and offering hospitality. I want for the people who come to my space to feel comfortable while they travel the city. Which is why put effort toward keeping my place clean and accessible to my guests. I try to be as accommodating as possible to the people and their traveling needs during their stay.
