Neighborhood highlights

The beach across the street is full of fun. Great for playing in the water, beach games, and lounging. While it is sometimes active on weekends, Summers, and Holidays, it is easy to find plenty of room to relax year round, with the nearby beach being relatively empty many days. There is a lively beach restaurant and bar (Chase’s) across the street and an upscale restaurant and wine bar (SoNapa) a few steps away. Canaveral Seashore is a few minutes south, and Smyrna Dunes Park (featuring a one of a kind mile and a half circular boardwalk) is at the north end of the island overlooking the intercoastal, the inlet, and the beaches. The inlet offers some of the most consistent waves on the East Coast of the US inviting a robust local surf culture. While the bungalow is located in a relatively quiet area, Flagler Avenue is a bit north and features more than a dozen restaurants and nightlife spots (several on the ocean). Whether you are seeking an escape, a party, some outdoor play, or adventure, the Bungalow is perfectly located.
