Interaction with Guests
We share the space downstairs
and are always out and about. We're very happy to meet new people and give good advice about exploring the city. I also believe that you'll just want us out of the way so you can enjoy your stay in Brooklyn. As a matter of security, I also ask that you fill your profile out fully and add a picture before inquiring about a stay. I do not accept bookings from blank profiles. Thanks!
Williamsburg is a wonderful neighborhood. I've lived here for about 20 years and have seen it morph from an interesting backwater to the modern exciting area it is now. There are tons of great bars and cafes and restaurants close to us including Diner, Marlow and sons and Lucky dog bar to name but a couple. We're about 3 blocks from the water where you can catch a picturesque ferry ride to manhattan.
Subways are a few blocks walk away and there is lots of street parking available.
There are basketball hoops on the next block as well as a children's playground.
The L and JMZ trains are a few minutes walk away, both are the 1st stops in Brooklyn. There is free parking on the street and ferries to Manhattan are close by. Bus service right on Bedford ave.
The taxi ride from JFK will be about $40. From LaGuardia it's about $25. There is also a train service from JFK airport which takes about an hour and costs about $7.
Other Things to Note
The space really is very private since it's on another floor from us and you can choose how much you want to interact with us. We're always happy chat and help our guests out with local attractions.

We were stuck at the last minute in NY and needed a place to sleep. Kenneth responded back immediately after I contacted him and offered his place. We had to make many changes and went back and forth several times with different requests. He not only met every one of our odd needs, he also went above what we asked and offered resolutions at his own expense! This was more than a positive experience!
Kenneth's room is totally lovely! Quiet, nicely decorated.
We had a lot of pleasure staying there. The neighborhood is great with a lot of bars and restaurants.
Kenneth was a perfect host and explained us a lot of things about Williamsburg and New York.
Room was just how the pictures looked. A little bit small for 2 ppl and 2 bags but we made it work and it was a great stay. Shared bathroom but only had to feel like we shared it 1 morning only so worked out fine. Jasmine and Ken were lovely friendly people and went out of their way to accomodate us for a early check in. Would stay again.
Ken and his wife were wonderfully friendly and helpful, they gave us straightforward easy information about checking in and were right there if we needed anything. We could even leave bags locked up until it was time to go. The room was beautiful and exactly as the picture shows. We couldn't have asked for a better location, right in the heart of Williamsburg. We had a great time!
Very nice room. All very clean. The hosts are very lovely and helpful. The location is safe, nice restaurants and bars in the area.
It was a realy nice place to stay in a great neighborhood. This old townhouse with the beautiful bedroom and a view in the green backyard. There are a lot of things to discover and with some good advises from our hoste it made it to a great stay.
Thank`s for your hospitality.
