+++Raven Bear Animals:

+9 goats: Our goats are like big dogs and LOVE pets and attention. A lot of guests come and fall in love and end up spending a LOT of time with the goats. They are very zen animals and are fascinating to watch and just hang out with. You are free to go in their fenced in area anytime you want we just ask you leave your dogs in the cabin when you go.

You can also take them on a self guided walk - just let us know and we will show you how to do it.

+Horses currently in the guest pastures:

1- Mr. Cookie- mini horse
2- Spirit- big horse

The tiny house is located within the SAME pasture as the horses and they will come right up to the deck and eat apples or carrots from your hand.

You might need to go find them to show them you have treats.

+Birds: SO many birds.

Other animals you may see:

Blue and white heron
Quail
Geese
Turkeys
Pheasants
Ducks
Frogs (you will hear them at night if you are outside)
Deer
Bats
Owls
Hawks
Vultures
Wild Insects

Very rare but we have seen:
Otters

You will occasionally hear coyotes off in the distance at night.

There is a pair of binoculars in the tiny house to zoom in on the wildlife.

TINY HOUSE: Completely separate from the main house. We set the tiny house up so guests do not see each other and can still feel secluded.

PROPERTY:

10 acres.

We are at the end of a dead end road and the back of our property borders 440 acres of county owned pasture land.

Pool: Open to all guests, Dogs too ;)

Pond: We have a kayak, a canoe and a paddle boat you are free to use during your stay

All of the roads to get here are paved. (you do not need 4 wheel drive)

We also have another guest house on the property that we rent via Airbnb.

We live on the property in the Main House but are accustomed to giving guests their space :)

Your Dogs/Cats/Horses: Friendly fur animals are SUPER welcome here!!! Yes this means you can bring not only dogs but horses, cats, chinchillas or bunnies.

Your dogs: They are invited to swim in the pond and pool. Let us know if you are bringing a pet as we have special welcome packages for them :)

Connectedness: Tiny House has Starlink Wifi - its faster than our local internet- we have had it for a year now and really impressed with the tech

Self check-in: you will not see us when you check-in.

Grill: A gas grill is on the porch

We do not do checkins or checkouts on Saturday

Other things to note
HORSES: The Tiny House is located in the pasture WITH the horses so don't be surprised to wake up to see one crossing in front of your deck to go eat breakfast.

BEDROOM: The bed is located up 6 steepish stairs. There is a railing to help you up and down but be sure your knees are up for the task. :-)

In the summer remember to bring your bathing suit for the pool. Or not- and just enjoy the relaxing :)

The tiny house is very well insulated and has AC and Heat and keeps very cool even if the hottest parts of the year and warm in the winter.

If you want to explore in the winter bring your boots as it very well could be soggy. No special shoes are needed if you dont want to leave the tiny house :)

The property resides at the end of a private road that is in the Sierra Foothills. Rolling hills with oak trees primarily. We are 30 minutes from Sutter Creek and the other old gold 49er towns and about 30 minutes from Shenandoah Valley the "other" wine country.
