The pool is warm now. Steam was coming off at 7pm this am! The bedroom fills with sunshine in the early evening. The living room/kitchen is cosy and private. Warm deep red walls and comfortable sofa bed. The patio has a stunning view to Bosham.
We live 3-4 miles from Chichester Harbour.
The house has a view to the sea and we have a heated outdoor pool in a large garden with only 3 other houses up a quiet cul-de-sac 15 mins from Chichester town centre.
The annexe has a double bedroom, TV and storage. NEW Ensuite shower room with sink & toilet, leading from the NEW kitchen/living room with a double sofabed.
Double patio doors lead to a small patio table and chairs. Use of the swimming pool available on request.
Short walk to superb pub. 5 meters from walks and cycle routes (bikes available to borrow) on the south downs. The city has lots of resturants, pubs, boutiques, cinema, theatre, library, parks, leisure centre, golf, tennis, skate park, museums, the Cathedral, market (Sat & Wed) Car Boot sales (Sat & Sunday) Also only 30 mins from Portsmouth with a lots of history to explore in the dockyards and the chic outlet shopping complex og Gunwharft Quays with the Spinnaker Tower to go up and see an amazing view above the city and to the Isle of Wight. Washing Machine & dryer available at no extra charge. 1 double bed and 1 sofabed in the living area. Parents caution, there is not a fence or gate around the swimming pool. We are aiming to build a kennel so dog walkers will be welcome soon....

Interaction with Guests
We mainly leave the guests to their privacy but are on hand to assist where necessary. We have built up good relationships with guests and invited them to join us for drinks etc.
This is a very quiet countryside neighbourhood with walking and cycling paths only 30 metres away. There are 2 shops in the village, a church, a pub and a restaurant, which are a short 10 min walk away. There are only 3 others houses nearby.
10 min walk to bus or 10 min cycle to station.

We will clean the bedding once a week
but for any other laundry you have access to the washer & dryer
in our utility room.
No pets. No smoking
Our family just stayed at Jackie's for the bank holiday weekend, we felt very welcome and our host addressed all our needs. The location is perfectly peaceful and our boys enjoyed the vast garden and even a dip in the pool, a bit early in the season, but would have been wonderful on a hot day! Funtington is also close to many different places of interest and the sea side. We would come again for a weekend for sure!

Jackie was a great host, she made me feel right at home. The setting was beautiful, looking out over the countryside with vista's to the sea beyond. It is a short 10 minute walk to a great local pub, or a 3 minute drive. There are plenty of other pubs and restaurants around also. Miles of foot and bike paths surround the area. The bed was super comfortable, and breakfast was great every morning. Jackie was very helpful with local directions and things to do and see. This was one of the best vacations I ever had. Very easy to get to Portsmouth, Isle of Wight, Chichester, Arudel, and so much more. The house has a real country setting in a very scenic part of England. JUST GREAT!
