This is a great central location where you can walk to all of the sights including the Vatican and Colosseum. It overlooks a very busy square which is a wonderful market by day and a hotspot for dining and drinking and street performers by night. If you like the activity and energy this is a perfect spot, bring earplugs if you find it hard to sleep with so much activity or better yet join in! Restaurants abound right outside the door as well as a market, a food store, a pharmacy, pastry shop and more. A great place to stay! Free live music all night from guitar to opera!

We chose to rent the apartment because of its location in the Centre of Rome. Also, we liked that it is facing one of the markets in Rome, even if that give a little noise. For us the noise was not a problem, and we liked to look at the lively marked outside. I have rented several places in Rome before, and none of them had anything like the view from this apartment. We had good communication with Marzia, but she was not able to fix a serious problem with the WIFI. The apartment has a 4G modem, and there is only a 10GB quota each month. When we arrived, the quota had been used by previous renters, so we were without WIFI for 6 days. 10 GB is not a lot if people are watching video, and I am disappointed that the problem was not immediately fixed when we reported it. Instead of fixing the problem, let us wait until the new monthly quota started (6 days into our rental). Another big problem is that the apartment has a water damage in the kitchen that we were not told about. Water have leaked from the ceiling, and into the kitchen Furniture’s. All that was done to fix it, was to make a large funnel of plastic in the ceiling, and connect a pipe that was leading water to the sink some meters away. The kitchen furniture’s are damaged, and during our stay a heavy ventilator fell on the stove, and further to the floor. The reason was that the chipboard in the kitchen furniture is heavily damaged by water, and this should have been fixed before the apartment was rented out. If any of us had been cooking, most likely the person would have ended up in hospital with serious injury. There is still a damaged cabinet hanging there, and most likely the water has caused more damage. I don't recommend anyone to rent the apartment until the water damage is fixed, and the damaged furniture’s changed. As I understood they were waiting for feedback from the city on how to fix the damage to the ceiling, but that is no excuse for not fixing the damage that the water has done to the kitchen furniture’s. and the electrical installations.

Spacious bedrooms. Several comfy sofas ( great for napping). Great location right on Campo de Fiore, overlooking the open air market (sometimes there's free live music! ). Easy to find and reference while exploring the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marzia's apartment in its fantastic location. We arrived early in the day, before the cleaner had been in, but we were able to drop off our bags there whilst we went out to explore the market and surroundings. Marzia made us welcome and showed us places to visit, shop and eat within walking distance. There is plenty of choice very close by! Everything was clean and comfortable and we also took advantage of the car to get from the airport to the apartment which was great and we learned some local history on the way, stopping off to admire the view and see how close we were to some of the places we were interested in visiting. The market place is a busy area, there is always something going on outside until the early hours so I would recommend taking some ear-plugs if you are a light sleeper but we would definitely like to stay here again.

Marzia met us on arrival and was very helpful with information on the area in which we were staying. She had also arranged for us to be picked up at the airport, which was such a luxury after our long flight. She was available by phone throughout our stay. The apartment itself was on the 4th floor. There is an elevator, but you still have one flight on the ground floor and one flight on the 4th floor which you have to take. Just a warning for those impaired. Campo Di Fiore is a very popular area, with a bustling market every day. Very exciting to be there in the middle of it all. The windows in the bedroom open out to this scene. Great during the day. At night this becomes a restaurant/bar scene. Be warned: there is noise. Music & revelry. Ear plugs worked for me for sleeping. WiFi was weak, at best. However, the restaurant downstairs (La Carbonera - a good place to eat, btw) has a connection that works upstairs near the window. Weakly. Although we didn't see her on our departure, Marzia also arranged for a cab for us to the train station. Again a big help. I would definitely recommend this place, as long a you know about the noise level and are prepared. The host could not have been more accommodating.

Adoro ballare, viaggiare e camminare.
