Interaction with Guests
Being a people friendly person myself, I enjoy having guests and my guests always return again and again.
Make this your home while you are here. Play the baby grand piano and sing to your hearts content.
As long as the night doesn't get too late! :)
I might even enjoy a glass of wine with you.
What I love about my neighborhood is that my home is in the middle of almost 9 acres, surrounded by avocado and lemon trees and part of the land is used by a local flower grower, so you see, I don't have close neighbors. And those up hill and down hill are wonderful people.
There isn't any public transportation unless you walk a mile to the bus stop. Then there are regular busses to Santa Barbara and Montecito. Taxi rides are always available.
Other Things to Note
The big other thing about staying in my home is that I have two very beautiful, large cats.
They are not allowed outside so all doors must be closed at all times. There are coyotes!!
There is no way for me to block them out of the downstairs part of the house so I appreciate animal lovers.
Sorry, dogs aren't welcome.
I expect my guests to take care of my home as if it were their own and be kind and courteous of everyone.
Keep a reasonable time for bed and quiet.
As a repeat guest, I found the stay as restful and relaxing as when I stayed previously. The vibrant orange flowers placed on the bedside table really anchored the space and offer just one example of what sets Jeanne's welcome apart. I appreciated the mini-fridge and coffee/tea station in the sunroom and once again basked in the beautiful balance of company and privacy. The comfy bed provided deep restful sleep after a day spent sightseeing. Staying at Jeanne's means admiring sunsets and savoring verdant tranquility while being only a short distance from delicious restaurants, cute shops and the beach! Jacuzzi tub comes with rubber duckie :-)
This is our second visit and the warm welcome was as good as last time. And so was the hot tub. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay.
I was welcomed immediately and shown to a lovely private room with fresh flowers and the most restful bed! An evening soak in the jacuzzi unwound my travel-tight muscles. The spacious sunroom with lovely views of mountains and labyrinth soothed my eyes, and sipping a cup of morning tea while enjoying delicious biscotti offered excellent centering at sunrise.
I couldn't have asked for a more gracious host whose exquisite taste shimmers throughout the surroundings. Serene kitties and an exquisite sunset view enhanced each evening. I appreciated the balance of community and privacy and can't wait to book again!
Jeanne gave us a warm welcome at her house. The house is located on a small hill, embedded in a big garden.
The room was very nice and because of the location very quiet. I sleep'd so good and long - perfect.
Breakfast is available in Carpenteria.
It was very nice - we will come back on our next California trip.
Jeanne was welcoming. Her home is beautiful. The bed was comfortable and there was a gorgeous terrace with a view of the ocean.
As a first time AirBnB-er, we didn't know what to expect, but the house exceeded our every expectation and the whole experience was a little slice of heaven. From the second we drove up to her Spanish-style Hacienda, we felt like we were home. Jeanne greeted us with open arms and even better company. More than that, we left with a wonderful memory and a new friend. We dream of Jeanne!
This was lovely hilltop house a ways off of pch with abundant character. We were greeted by Jeanne who was so accommodating despite our late arrival. From the front driveway, the view of the stars at night was absolutely incredible. We then made our way into the guest's quarters which was elegant from a panoramic view of the coast to a Spanish tile bathroom and relaxing bedroom. Her two cats provided as much company as imaginable, and the personal touches throughout the home made for a charming accompaniment. Overall Jeanne was able to impress me on my first airbnb experience to the fullest and I would highly recommend her patronage.
