Simone was a gracious host and I liked his apartment and neighborhood very much. Simone took time to show me some good libraries on map and neighborhoods where I could buy good dinner or shop with fair value (Testaverde and Monti). Simone's neighborhood is close to Termini station, but is full of real Italians, not tourists. I liked the local laundromat and restaurants. Peope in shops were very friendly and courteous. Simone's apartment is quiet and comfortable and very clean, and I had some long sleeps in comfortable big bed. The wifi in apartment is good; I was able to work at desk in bedroom, as well as nearby National Library. The coffee and croissants in cafe next door was best I had in Rome.
Had a great stay at Simone and Daphne's bed and breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Great rooms. Beautiful very spacious apartment. Can not recommend enough. Simon was very helpful with tips and hints for Rome. Great simple breakfast.
The location was great. Quite local - so not touristy which was great after a day of sightseeing in the crowds. Lively student area. Great local restaurants around and lots of bars to get a drink or coffee. 15 minutes walk to either the main Rome train station or Tiburtina train station and and 5 minutes walk to the metro.
5 star bed and breakfast! Definitely recommend!
Simone and Daphne were great hosts. The apartment is huge and immaculate! Simone was attentive and really went out of his way, to find out what I wanted for breakfast. He took me on a tour of the neighborhood, and helped me look for additional lodgings when his place was not available for extra days! I really loved Simone's beautiful home!
Simone was a great host, friendly, helpful and yet discreet. The room was comfortable and the big living room could be used as well. I had a great experience.
This place could really not have been better! The flat is large and tastefully furnished, and utterly spotless. It's in a great area that isn't full of tourists like the rest of Rome. Simone is a perfect host, he is as available as you need him to be, but lets you get on with it. I highly recommend.
I had a lovely time staying at this bnb. The room was as shown in pictures and while the bathroom is not ensuite, it is right next to the bedroom and private. The room was more spacious than expected, and Simone leaves pastries in the dining room for breakfast, with everything else you need (tea bags, coffee machine, cereal, Nutella). It's a very young and lively neighbourhood (great gelato and cafes nearby) but not noisy at night. The metro is only a 10min walk away so it's a very convenient base to explore Rome from!
Simone was a wonderful host, sitting me down upon arrival and providing me with maps, guides and food recommendations. He and his girlfriend even took me to watch a ballet performance! He is such a kind host and the personal touch made my stay in Rome all the more special. I would definitely recommend this bnb to other travelers!
Simone is very hospitable person. He took all the approaches to make my stay most enjoyable in Rome. You can always reach him on the phone; I was texting him to know exactly the best way to reach his place from Fiumicino Airport and he was replying very fast and efficiently. When I arrived he gave me a map of Rome and suggested places to see and visit. Simone is very clean, organized and respect privacy. He provided everything he mentioned in the listing; the room is exactly as the pictures show, the bathroom is very clean and equipped with all the facilities. The neighbourhood is quiet, cozy and not busy. At the same time it is only 20 mins walking to the Termini (the main metro station) where you can head from to anywhere across Rome.
It is worth to mention that a very nice breakfast was served every morning that contains almost everything you need for a breakfast meal.
I strongly recommend Simone's place and I would definitely do it again if I go to Rome.
