Far from the madding crowd of the city but very close to three unique population centers, Veracruz 14 Km (35 minutes) to the north, Boca Del Río 5 Km (15 minutes) to the east and Medellín 4 Km (12 minutes) to the south. At the intersection of three historic municipalities, the oldest in continental America, Veracruz is now 500 years old, all three have ancient chapels, El Cristo del Buen Viaje from 1609 (Veracruz), Santa Ana from 1776 (Boca Del Río) and San Miguel Arcángel from 1524 (Medellín) which is the second built in continental America after the Hermitage of the Rosary in La Antigua from 1523.
Villa San Ramón is just 15 minutes away from Heriberto Jara Corona International Airport.

MEDELLÍN DE BRAVO, VERACRUZ
In pre-Columbian America, the place was called Tecamachales. After the Battle of La Noche Triste, Hernán Cortés ordered Gonzalo de Sandoval to found Medellín. In 1529, Don Juan de Zumárraga, bishop of Mexico, arrived in the town for the inauguration of the local church, considered the second in New Spain, which was named San Miguel Arcángel, in honor of the town's patron saint.

During the Mexican War of Independence, Nicolás Bravo pardoned 300 Spanish royalist prisoners there in 1812, which is why his name was added to the municipality. On February 17, 1870, the boundaries between the municipalities of Medellín and Jamapa were established by decree.

In 1915, the first agrarian committee of the state of Veracruz and the first ejido (communal land), which was the ejido of Medellín, were founded in Medellín.

In 1952, the decree establishing the inscription of the name of Nicolás Bravo in the Hall of Sessions of the Chamber of Deputies was issued.
