Amazing location in a quiet older building close to English Bay and Stanley Park, the Sea Wall, Denman St, Robson St. easy access and walking distance to Downtown, Gastown, etc.
Before reserving the room, PLEASE CONTACT ME to confirm availability!! Thanks.
Ideally I can accommodate 1 person in the living room - meaning the privacy is not as 100 % as there is no door just a curtain separating you from the living room as well as the kitchen. but it is white and sunny in here :)

I can be very talkative or very silent doing my work on the computer. but i like to hear stories of travelers as i like to travel myself a lot too and like the spirit of those open minded beings,
This is mthe most fantastic neighborhood i can imagine for Vancouver.
you are jut around the corner of the busy streets Denman and Davie street -where you can get almost every food you can imagine. Bars and cafes en masse. cross ehte street and you get the sea wall and the Ocean in the matter of 3 minutes and in 5 minutes walk you are in the woods of Stanley Park. or you jog around the sea wall - meditate in the grass looking at he ocean and the sunset or take a bike and ride around Stanley Park. there is a Whole Foods on Robson street or cheap vegetable and fruit stores as well as a big supermarket just 2 blocks away. English bay is my favorite mixture of town and nature closeness i can imagine here in Canada.

Michael is a great host, welcoming, kind and caring! Even if he wasn't actually staying in his flat during my stay, he visited every day to work and to help me with all the questions I had. He was also always available if I had any problem or anything. His place is perfect to enjoy the seawall, really nice to be so close of the water to watch the sunsets!
I came to Vancouver not for vacation but in preparation to move here. When I first contacted Michael and told him my plans he went above and beyond to make me feel Vancouver would be a great place for me to live. He was very accommodating to me as I showed up with more then the typical amount of luggage (a woman moving across country, there was lots of clothes and shoes involved!) He told me of all the great places to eat, offered me a local cell phone and a bike. As luck would have it there was an apartment opening up in his building so I didn't even need to scramble to find a place to live!! Michael made my transition and first week in Vancouver so simple! I'm so grateful to him, and if you are planning on staying in Vancouver he should be your first choice!!
I think I was very lucky because I could stay at Micahel's house during my trip. Michael is such a thoughtful, kind and honest guy I have ever met. Since his house is very close to English Bay, I could have an amazing time on the beach whenever I wanted. The only sad thing was that I couldn't stay longer because of my extremely short vacation. I will get a long vacation next year and definetely stay at his house again! Thank you and see you next September Michael!!
Micahael is a sweet heart!
So patient and flexible, understanding and welcoming. He is very thoughtful to your needs and space. Myself and my friend could not have asked for a better place, host, and location. It's as good as it gets, its 5 stars.
Thank you Michael!!! Will & Carol
Michael was a fantastic host! He was able to take us in at a very short notice. This was our first time using airbnb and I'm glad it was at Michael's place. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and the location was great. If you're thinking about staying here you should just do it!
Michael was an utterly gracious host. I was moving to the city and needed a temp place to land that was also affordable, which is difficult downtown, so I chose his place for that reason. This was my first Airbnb experience and I was a bit concerned, especially being female staying with a man I didn't know. From our first interaction I felt comfortable, and everything from there was wonderful. He was understanding when I was delayed in customs, arriving late, he had everything set up for me as a guest when I arrived (fresh linens and towel), and he even lent me a local cell phone from which to make phone calls, which was really above and beyond what I could have expected.. As others have mentioned, the building at first glance is not a stunner, but once inside his place, you'll feel comfortable. His nice spacious room feels cheery and modern in all white. And, even though this is technically a shared space (i.e. not a 'private' bedroom), I had plenty of time by myself there and when he was home Michael was happy and easy to talk to and so helpful. I would highly recommend staying at his place for these reasons and because the location is awesome.
Michael's apartment was perfectly located! He offers a beautiful, clean, and special space with creative and warm energy! Also, conversations with Michael flow easily, as he is great host with great stories! I really look forward to returning, and hopefully getting the chance to host Michael in my neck of the woods some day! If you have the chance to stay with Michael- DO!!
michael was an awesome and inviting host. i was in for a conference and was running in/out at odd hours, so i really appreciated the little ways in which he went out of his way to make the shared parts of the living room my home.
Had a terrific time staying with Michael. Great host, very personable and kind. Excellent location convenient to everything in downtown. Great chats about travels and life adventures!
I'll certainly stay with Michael when in Vancouver next time!
Michael was a great host. Michael graciously accommodated my late arrival. He welcomed me into his home and always made sure I was taken care of. Although I didn't accept his offers of tea and use of his bike, it was really appreciated. I came to Vancouver to hang out with a friend and Michael's home was incredibly close to the route and the beach. I would gladly stay with Michael again the next time I'm in Vancouver.
