Interaction with Guests
I love meeting new people and sharing my knowledge of Sydney with guests. I am an executive on the Glebe Chamber of Commerce so I know all the good haunts and most of the local gossip. I can be contacted with questions via text during your stay and I can usually get back to you straight away.
The apartment is positioned in the heart of Glebe, a bohemian inner city village filled with lively coffee shops, boutique bars and restaurants offering cuisines from all over the world.
You are a 1.5km 15-20 minute walk from Central Station, Darling Harbour, Sydney Fish Market and King Street, Newtown. There are magnificent parks at either end of Glebe Point Road for picnics and waterfront walks.
Across the road is a bus stop to Circular Quay, a 24 hour 7/11 and a ramp to Broadway Shopping Centre with grocery stores that close at midnight each night. Every Saturday the famous Glebe Markets operate right next door to the building and offer up fresh foods, local handicrafts and cheap second hand wares.
You barely have to roll out of bed and the best of Sydney is right there at your doorstep.
A cab from the airport to 62 Glebe Point Road costs around $25-$30 and takes around 20 minutes in light traffic.
Busses to the city run constantly down Broadway at the 'top' end of Glebe Point Road. 1 zone bus passes can be bought from 7/11, they cost about $2.50 and will get you to Circular Quay and the city.
There is a light rail that runs from Central Station to Glebe and the station is a 10 minute walk down Glebe Point Road from the apartment.
Busses to Coogee Beach and Newtown (370) run from the bus stop directly across the road.
Taxis can be hailed on Glebe Point Road at most times of day or can be ordered to your doorstep on 131008.
Walking around the area is a pleasure not worth missing.

Kris is a lovely host, very level, flexible and easy-going. He was easily accessible by phone, but also not intrusive at all.
The apartment is beautifully furnished, clean and practical. We were travelling with a 2-year-old, and it is a child-friendly apartment, with a gate at the top of the stairs and a booster seat for the table.
Glebe is a great area, lots of nice places to eat and drink, some good parks nearby for kids, and also buses that go to town and major train stops, making all of Sydney accessible from the front door of the apartment.
We had a great stay at Kris's place in Glebe. Spacious two bedroom apartment with everything we needed and awesome location. Must visit Brewista, Flying Fajita Sisters, Galluzzo Delicatessen and The Little Guy if you stay here! Kris was great, amiable and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!
Kris greeted us on our arrival and provided us with lots of handy info about the great places in Glebe. The place itself was a great size and in a perfect location. So close to the many amazing cafes, restaurants and bars that Glebe has. It was also great to be able to walk straight over to the market on Saturday morning. I would definitely recommend this place for a great Sydney experience.
Great place in a great area. Really good sized place, and all furnishings/linen/cleanliness top quality. Would easily recommend.
Kris place is very well located just a a crops the street of many restaurant and the buss stop is almost in front of the door, very quiet at nights to sleep
I will for sure recommend Kris place
All together, a great place to stay. I highly recommend it for its great price/location/space added to its old house feeling. Kris was very flexible and helpful with the check-in which was seamless. Location is excellent. Very spacious. Main room is very nice, cosy and roomy. The second room has a blocked door that connects to a deposit or something where people were also cooking, but it did not bother us at all, I guess if you like sleeping during the day it might be an issue but it was not for us (and then for that, you have the quieter main room). It is noisy during the day, I guess, but I would not expect less from a great location, also consider that the buzz of the street dies out quiet early (7-8ish pm). The ironing board was not great (we were here for a couple of events and needed fancy dress) but not the end of the world.
