Whitstable is a foodie’s paradise with its Michelin starred Gastro Pub The Sportsman, the tiny Wheelers or the famous Royal Native Oyster Stores restaurant to name a few. And 30m from the cottage is the amazing Windy Corner Stores, ideal for breakfast, coffees and homemade bread.
“Kent’s fashionable seaside resort isn’t
just good for oysters, Whitstable’s
high-street has the most diverse range
of shops in the UK”, Sunday Times
If you are intending to stay in Whitstable then you can get around just by walking. Everything is within easy walking distance.
If you want to go further afield in Kent then the train station is very close. Buses run regularly to Canterbury.
The house really is charming.
The location is PERFECT, sitting between the high street and the beach front.
The keys are in a coded safe nearby and check in/out times are very generous making it really convenient. There was milk and butter in the fridge for us and also a fairly good dvd collection if the weather isn't in your favour!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. A couple's weekend away or a 4 person family would be equally suited.
You MUST eat at the Sportsman, relaxed atmosphere and service, with excellent food. If you like real ales then give the Tankerton Arms a try, we got round most of the pubs in Whitstable and they had the best selection.
We had a lovely weekend break in this cottage. It had everything we needed and wanted. We very much enjoyed the cosy living room and in particular the working fire in the living room. The proximity of the house to the beach and the middle of town was a great bonus as it allowed us to access everywhere we wanted on foot. We also took advantage of the little cafe on the corner for morning breakfasts. Overall a great stay in Whitstable combining sunny seaside walks and cosy evening in front of the fire. We will hopefully return again soon.
Our trip to Whitstable was great. Aaron's cottage is stylish, cosy and well set-up for Airbnb guests. Although there was only two of us, it could easily accommodate 4. Situated a minute's walk away from the beach and the town, the location is lovely. A few footsteps down the path and you are at the Neptune- a lovely little beachside pub. We know Whitstable very well and I'd say that the location was as perfect as you could get without a sea-view.
Communication was very good, and the keys are left in a safe box near the property- very convenient. The place was spotless when we arrived- all freshly laundered and cleaned. Aaron had even left a pint of milk in the fridge for us- nice touch! The only issue we had was the seal on the shower head was broken so we couldn't use it, but I'm confident Aaron will replace this as soon as he can- we are fairly easy-going people so didn't mind and used the bath instead. No big deal.
Thanks for giving us a memorable weekend with the mimimum of fuss. We would definitely stay at Aaron's stylish cottage again. A top airbnb host in my opinion.
My daughter and I spent a weekend at this truly charming seaside cottage. It was perfect. We felt warm and nurtured by such lovely surroundings. We had everything we needed, it was easy to find and everything was easy to work out. There is a house manual as well. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen well stocked. We were so happy in this sweet sanctuary that we were really sad to leave. Thank you, Aaron, for sharing this little oasis of calm. All the best, Jo
House was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay in Whitstable. The house had everything you needed and was exceptionally clean and tastefully styled. Couldn't fault it at all! Me and my partner stayed here but the house would have been perfect with our two kids as well! Aaron was very quick to respond and answer any questions. Super duper. Highly recommend !!!!
The cottage was very pretty and exactly as listed in the pictures and description. In an ideal location right near the beach and two minutes walk from the High Street

Hi my name is Aaron and I am listing the '1 Bedroom Flat (Sleeps 4) Angel, N1' located in London.
I was born in London have lived here my whole life. I enjoy travelling and seeing other cities and countries - my favourite are Rome and Beijing.
I live about ten minutes away from the flat and have two little dogs who take up lots of my time.
