I actually didn't meet Sylwia in person, but everything was well prepared. The room was spacious, was nicely furnished and even had a couch. The same is true for the common rooms. There are basic grocery shops around and the bus connection is good. Thanks for having me and I'll certainly come back when I'm around next time.
The house and room are decent, very clean even though it's old buy artsy, European style. We were chased out on the last day without advanced notification just because the next customers are moving in. It's not as close to Manhattan as I initially thought as its given on the information side, we walked like nuts to reach the closest train station and took a few transit stops just to arrive in New York. However, I enjoyed her living room and kitchen were both allowed us to use freely with kitchen wares.
Overall our stay was pleasant however the room only has 2 beds the fo link d out couch is clearly not designed to be slept on
We stayed at the room downstairs. It was quite small. But the whole place in general was tidy. However, the surroundings were a bit messy. And it was very far from the path station.
Sylwia's apartment was beautiful and the kitchen was a big convenience. After long days in New York City we were always able to relax and to sleep soundly. It smelled a bit upstairs but we felt very comfortable in the living room. The only incident that happened was the parking ticket we got because our car stood on the wrong side of the street while there was a street cleaning.
Otherwise I was very happy with the apartment and can recommend it to anyone who wants to visit NY City for a few days.
