Just few rules:
1) Respect the neighbors. Since you are living in a building with normal flats and people who are permanently living here you must respect the neighbors. You are NOT ALLOWED to listen loud music/tv or to do party inside the flat. Especially before 8 am and after 9pm you must avoid any noise that can be disturb other people.
2) Use of Internet. You are not allowed to download any program or file that is not legal. Police's german downloading rules are quite strictly and if something illegal has been downloaded, they can catch you and let pay fees (around 2000 €).
3) Smoking in the flat is not allowed.

We were placed in the wrong apartment, the furnishings were old and tatty and the freezer didn't work. The bedding and towels smelt damp and unclean. We had to stay there for 3 nights as someone else was staying in the apartment we had booked.
When we eventually got to move apartments our host neglected to tell us that Sofia (the cleaner/person who met us) was going to be late so we ended up waiting an hour.
The second apartment was much cleaner, with better furnishings but the towels were still smelly.
There was a real problem contacting the host and getting any information from him. There was no one at the apartment to meet us when we arrived. The communication issues and general run down state of the apartments is a real shame because they could be lovely, the location is great. Our experience was tarred by these bad points.
Lovely flat. Poor communication.
The apartment was perfect, clean, well located, well equipped, and exactly what we were looking for. It was a shame that the lack of communication let things down at the start. I had sent details of arrival two days prior after receiving a confirmation email from Mario. I did not receive a reply to this, nor to any text that I sent him. On arrival I phoned him but could not get an answer. As Mario owns a lot of apartments he has someone else to do the check in which is fine, but we were not communicated this. He had given the lady (Sophia?) a time to come to the apartment to meet us but this was not communicated with us, and we arrived 50 mins prior to this. As we could not get through to anyone (I tried calling Mario approx 10 times) and were left standing outside at night in the rain we started looking for alternative accommodation. Luckily Sophia arrived before we left. She was lovely and very apologetic and after that eveything else was fine. Like I said, perfect aparent, just a shame about the bad start... As two young women alone at night in a strange city this made the start of our trip quite stressful! I would advise chasing for a confirmed time and asking for an alternative contact number for Sophia to avoid this.
Such a lovely apartment, exactly like the photos. Easy arrival/departure and a great location, close to local bars/resteraunts and right next to an U-bahn. Thank you Mario!
I enjoyed my stay. Neighbourhood is excellent and very close to the subway making it easy to travel around
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying in Kreuzberg and in this apartment. Mario got back to me a day before we were supposed to arrive and let me know that someone would be waiting at the apartment to give us keys and show us the place. The apartment had enough dishware (utensils, glasses, and dishes) for the two of us during our week stay and there is a dishwasher and in-suite laundry. The bathroom has a huge bathtub and shower feature, which has amazing water pressure. For the women: there's also a travel sized hair dryer in the apartment. Would definitely stay here again.
