To prospective guests: Please send me an inquiry with a brief introduction and the purpose of your visit to NYC.
Currently, I am confirming bookings up to 3 months in advance. Thanks for your interest!
The arrival and departure times are flexible, preferably to be arranged at the time of booking. The apartment is a tidy and clean environment, and I ask that you kindly wash kitchen items after each use. There is no laundry in the building, but there is a Laundromat conveniently located right across a street from the apartment. The guest room is for one person only, unless otherwise discussed at the time of booking with an additional charge. I would appreciate quiet hours to be observed 11pm-7am. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment. There is a security deposit that AirBnB will hold on your credit card with your booking. Assuming all is in order, you will have this refunded to you shortly after your departure. I look forward to welcoming you and to have you enjoy my tranquil space, eclectic neighborhood, and the wonderful borough of Brooklyn!
This was my first airbnb experience and it was perfect! Lex is a perfect host and the appartment is cozy and clean. As already mentioned it is perfect for femal travellers. The subway station is around the corner and there are some interesting and vibrant spots just around the corner.
I stayed 2 weeks with Lex and "tranquil" describes the room and apartment perfectly. Lex was a great room mate, she was a nice person, clean and respectful and I would recommend any female travelling alone to stay here, especially if you want to experience NYC at an affordable price. You have access to Manhattan in about 20 mins via 2 trains so the location is convenient. The apartment was comfortable and clean, as was the bed. The bedroom was a great size. If I return to the city, I would book again with Lex. Thank you!
Lex was the perfect host. She was always very nice and helpful, and we had some nice conversations. Her cat Suki is very sweet and obviously likes other people. The room is clean and there is enough room for storage of clothes etc. This also applies for the kitchen and the bathroom. The subway station is just around the corner, and you find everything you need in the neighbourhood.
I had a really great time at Lex's place and can highly recommend it.
Everything was perfect at Lex's place. She is helpful and very available.
The room is medium size, the bed is comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The metro line stop is very close, something very important in such a big city. Good value for money.
I Had a great time at Lex apartment. I stayed there for almost 2 month and she's been amazing, always kind and ready to help when necessary. Her cat Suki is the sweetest cat ever! The neighboor is fantastic, there are many bars, restaurant and the G train is right around the corner. Very convenient to go anywhere. I totally raccomand it to anyone!
Lex was very friendly and she was very helpful with every question I had.
The appart was very nice (she is a designer, it shows) and everything was done tastefully. It's also just one block away from the G-train and thus close to everything. There is a laundromat just accross the street, a grocery store five blocks away, delis and takeouts just down the street. The neighborhood was safe and typical "Brooklyn", I loved it.
The cat (Suki!) was the coolest cat in NYC, no doubt.
Overall I had a nice stay there, and I would definetely go back there if I'm alone in NYC again,
It was my first experience with Airbnb and an absolutely positively one.
Communication with the host, the room, the location - all excellent marks!
Lex is very friendly and caring. The room is clean, comfortable, well furnished. Everything necessary provided. The location could not be more safe and convenient.
I walked about fifty miles around NY in 9 days and was really glad to return home every evening.
Highly recommended accomodation!
Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, I have lived in many cities, including Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco, Amsterdam, and Panama. I am now based in Brooklyn, New York, and continuously cultivating opportunities to feed my wanderlust: a strong desire for and impulse to wander or travel and explore the world.
