We had a blast in Costa Rica. The roads here are rural, so come prepared for a drive. We rented a car in Liberia. The location of Casa Rana is right near the beach- we could walk there in 5 min. Leslie prepared us well for our stay-very responsive and helpful with any questions. We met her son, Brian, at the house. The house was great. A/c's in each area. We ate out and at the house 50/50. It rained every day for a while, but the mornings were fantastic! The humidity keeps things damp, but the A/C helps with this after a few mins. We surfed and played on several nearby beaches- all gorgeous! Brian was great to help us with local contacts from food to fun and even a nearby zip line tour. We took a day trip to a volcano with mud baths. Overall, we had an amazing time. Our 3 girls said they never wanted to leave! The WIFI and cable kept my husband connected to work while the pool kept the rest of us happy. And don't forget how safe we were with the security system. We went to get lost in a week of Costa Rican beauty and beaches. Casa Rana is definitely the area for that type of vacation! Thanks Brian, Jen, and Leslie for allowing us the pleasure of staying at Casa Rana!
Staying at Casa Rana was a great experience. The accommodations were very comfortable. The rooms were very cozy. The pool was really refreshing to dip in to cool off in the 34 degree temp. I even had a chance to do a work out with the weights available next to the pool. I would defiantly stay their again . Much better than the resorts I have stayed at before. Keep up the good work Leslie. The breakfasts we had were top of the line she does it right :)
