What stay near the water when you can stay on it? Instead of the same boring hotel or vacation condo, stay on a 38' motor yacht docked directly on Charleston Harbor.
Commonly seen in the marina: beautiful sunsets, peaceful moonrises, dolphins, birds.
Horizon Seeker accommodates up to 4 people with 2 staterooms and 2 heads. Walk to the hotel bars and restaurants or cook for yourself inside in the galley or grill out on the aft deck.
-Aft deck (covered) with love seat, chairs and table

The marina also has a clubhouse with full shower and bathroom facilities. There is wireless internet from the marina but I do not guarantee access since it is not directly within my control.
The boat does not leave the dock during your stay and you do not share her with other guests. If you are interested in getting underway, I can arrange for a sailing or powerboat cruise on another boat.
I also have arrangements with other providers, so anything that you need (from provisioning to catered meals to kayak excursions to sunset sailing) can be arranged for you.
Horizon Seeker is perfect for couples, small families, and other getaways. If you have never been on a boat before, don't despair. It's easy and I will walk you through everything.
Two things to keep in mind:
1. The walk from the parking lot to the boat is about 5 minutes. It's a dock with a ramp. We have dock carts to help you bring your items to the boat. There is a small staircase with 5 steps to get onto the boat.
2. Please note that sometimes boats smell funny since you are sitting in salt water and engines and other mechanics are all contained on the boat.
Horizon Seeker has PFDs available for use by younger guests, and passed her 2013 USCG Vessel Safety Exam.
Pets are allowed by special arrangement. Contact me directly for more information.

You'll have accès to the pool, hot tub, beach, and free shuttle. There are three restaurants on-site, and between them you can eat and drink all day long. You'll also have access to the marina facilities - bathrooms, showers and laundry. There is wireless internet available at no charge.
I've set everything up so that you can easily arrive and depart; no need to meet anyone to pick up keys, etc. Happy to recommend fun things to do and yummy places to eat during your stay.
The view from the marina is incredible! You can enjoy the beauty of downtown and the harbor without having to go anywhere. It's a short walk to the on-site restaurants and bars and a short drive to hot spots like Shem Creek and Sullivan's Island. It's easy to get downtown and to/from all the major roads.
There is a free shuttle downtown and to some other local attractions. The water taxi to downtown is only a few feet away and it costs $10/roundtrip (all-day pass) per person.
We ask that you please respect our neighbors in the marina by keeping noise levels to a reasonable level and not polluting our beautiful water.
When leaving, we respectfully ask that you take your recycling and trash to the bins located at the pier head.
Horizon Seeker is a non-smoking vessel. Also, please no red wine, fireworks, or illegal substances.
This was a great experience! So fun to be on the marina with gentle waves, sea birds and beautiful sunsets. Comfortable beds and common areas. A lot of space for the cost of one hotel room and so much more unique. Highly recommend and would do it again!
Being able to wake up to a sunrise across the Charleston harbor and some of the porpoises frolicking along the border of dock A was definitely one of the best airbnb experiences I've ever had. The bed itself is comfortable enough for when you're tired but also spacious enough for two people to spread out enough which is more important in my opinion. I'd definitely suggest if someone were staying in Charleston to give this listing a try as there's nothing better than watching seabirds from the front deck and having nowhere else to be.
Beautiful location. Lots to do in the area. Host was pleasant and flexible allowing early check in and late checkout. Quick to respond to questions.
Photos were accurate, yacht was as described. Pleasant and unique experience. Would recommend.
A unique experience! The harbor in which the Horizon Seeker is docked is very easy to get to and is a good location to many of Charleston's attractions. The weather was frigid when we went, but we're told it is very uncommon for the area. The boat, however, was nice and toasty. Little issue with the water when we first hopped on board, but Jennifer was quick to respond/resolve any issue/concern we had. Fave part of our stay is the amazing food and beautiful views of the harbor from a boat's perspective. Will definitely keep the Horizon Seeker in mind for our next trip to Charleston! :)
The Horizon Seeker is a wonderful and unique place to stay when visiting Charleston. The water taxi is the perfect way to get over to the city without having to drive. The digs are homey and comfortable... You don't have to sacrifice creature comforts to enjoy staying in the harbor. We loved it! Jennifer tells you all you need to know to arrive and settle in quickly and easily.
We had a fantastic time on the yacht. Jennifer provided easy-to-follow instructions to get to the yacht. Once onboard, we read through her welcome booklet, which included notes on operating the A/C unit, toilets, and electrical outlets.
We found the yacht clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed with a small microwave and refrigerator. The cabins provided ample room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The salon includes a large couch and a cozy chair for lounging after a long day galavanting through Charleston.
We discovered that the marina provides a guest wireless network that we could access. Speaking of the marina, we spent some time in the hot tub and in the bar. We also took advantage of the Charleston Water Taxi, which departs from Dock A at the marina at the top of the hour. We saw several dolphins as we crossed Charleston Harbor to Waterfront Park. Pro Tip: disembark the Water Taxi at Patriots Point when returning to the yacht. The walk back to the yacht is shorter from Patriots Point than from Dock A.
We love Charleston and previously stayed in hotels near downtown. From now on, we're staying on a boat.

A lover of all things related to water, I've been around the ocean and boats my entire life. I've lived up and down the East Coast but am thrilled to call Charleston my home.
I love Horizon Seeker and enjoy sharing her with guests. When she is not chartered I've been known to spend an evening at the marina, relaxing and watching the sun set.
I more recently opened my home to guests as my dogs and I love meeting new people! Staying with me you'll get a unique Charleston experience. From sunrise on the marsh to island life, I have to say that this is truly the best place that I have ever lived.
