What stay near the water when you can stay on it? Instead of the same boring hotel or vacation condo, stay on a 38' motor yacht docked directly on Charleston Harbor.
Commonly seen in the marina: beautiful sunsets, peaceful moonrises, dolphins, birds.
Horizon Seeker accommodates up to 4 people with 2 staterooms and 2 heads. Walk to the hotel bars and restaurants or cook for yourself inside in the galley or grill out on the aft deck.

The marina also has a clubhouse with full shower and bathroom facilities. There is wireless internet from the marina but I do not guarantee access since it is not directly within my control.
The boat does not leave the dock during your stay and you do not share her with other guests. If you are interested in getting underway, I can arrange for a sailing or powerboat cruise on another boat.
I also have arrangements with other providers, so anything that you need (from provisioning to catered meals to kayak excursions to sunset sailing) can be arranged for you.
Horizon Seeker is perfect for couples, small families, and other getaways. If you have never been on a boat before, don't despair. It's easy and I will walk you through everything.
Two things to keep in mind:
1. The walk from the parking lot to the boat is about 5 minutes. It's a dock with a ramp. We have dock carts to help you bring your items to the boat. There is a small staircase with 5 steps to get onto the boat.
2. Please note that sometimes boats smell funny since you are sitting in salt water and engines and other mechanics are all contained on the boat.
Horizon Seeker has PFDs available for use by younger guests, and passed her 2013 USCG Vessel Safety Exam.
Pets are allowed by special arrangement. Contact me directly for more information.

You'll have accès to the pool, hot tub, beach, and free shuttle. There are three restaurants on-site, and between them you can eat and drink all day long. You'll also have access to the marina facilities - bathrooms, showers and laundry. There is wireless internet available at no charge.
I've set everything up so that you can easily arrive and depart; no need to meet anyone to pick up keys, etc. Happy to recommend fun things to do and yummy places to eat during your stay.
The view from the marina is incredible! You can enjoy the beauty of downtown and the harbor without having to go anywhere. It's a short walk to the on-site restaurants and bars and a short drive to hot spots like Shem Creek and Sullivan's Island. It's easy to get downtown and to/from all the major roads.
There is a free shuttle downtown and to some other local attractions. The water taxi to downtown is only a few feet away and it costs $10/roundtrip (all-day pass) per person.
We ask that you please respect our neighbors in the marina by keeping noise levels to a reasonable level and not polluting our beautiful water.
When leaving, we respectfully ask that you take your recycling and trash to the bins located at the pier head.
Horizon Seeker is a non-smoking vessel. Also, please no red wine, fireworks, or illegal substances.
The property is just as advertised, if not, better. A wonderful location, easy to check in and out of, and convenient to mount pleasant, the beach, or downtown. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Even with the rain, we were still able to enjoy our experience. The property was ready before our check-in time and Jennifer was gracious enough to invite us aboard early. She made everything simple for us. Prior to arrival, she sent me all the information we would need so I had no questions for her. The boat was stocked with an information packet as well as little helpful hints around the vessel for guests who aren't used to staying on the water. Had we needed to contact her, I felt like we would have received immediate reply or assistance.
This was an awesome stay and a unique experience. The Horizon Seeker was very comfortable and fun. The Marina was easily accessible, clean, and accommodating. Jennifer had everything ready and communication was excellent. The marina is situated next to Patriots' Point where the USS Yorktown is moored as a museum. The museum is worth a trip where you can go aboard the Yorktown as well as a WWII era destroyer and submarine.
We had an unforeseen problem arise but Jennifer worked with us to make everything work out. She was very gracious in working with us and we greatly appreciate her willingness to accommodate us. I highly recommend this booking and we would not hesitate to stay on the Horizon Seeker again!
Jennifer's boat was just the perfect place to stay to top off a beautiful city. Its just a minute away from the 'Water Taxi' that takes you across to downtown (past the dolphins!) The boat had everything you need, a great shower and comfortable beds. The neighbours are great, too!
Jennifer was more than accommodating and did everything to make our stay comfortable and fun. We got the chance to meet her before the end of the week and we're so lucky to have stayed aboard her boat.
Without a doubt the best AirBnB stay to date. Thank you Jennifer!
Home on the water beats a hotel room in the city. This was the right way for us to enjoy Charleston. Kids enjoyed it too. Thanks to Jennifer for making it possible.
Our stay on the Horizon Seeker was memorable. Our young children loved their stay on the boat although the nights were a little hard. They just needed to get accustomed to the new sounds. As for safety concerns, you need to follow your toddler around for obvious reasons. We had no accident. Jennifer was a great host. We felt welcomed and she left clear instructions. We think it's the best way to visit Charleston with kids: stay on a boat, take the water taxis to the old city and see dolphins on the way. If you are looking for a new adventure with your children, this boat is it!!
We enjoyed the stay on the boat! Though the few days we were there was chilly, windy and rainy....the room we slept in was cozy. Bed very comfortable!

A lover of all things related to water, I've been around the ocean and boats my entire life. I've lived up and down the East Coast but am thrilled to call Charleston my home.
I love Horizon Seeker and enjoy sharing her with guests. When she is not chartered I've been known to spend an evening at the marina, relaxing and watching the sun set.
I more recently opened my home to guests as my dogs and I love meeting new people! Staying with me you'll get a unique Charleston experience. From sunrise on the marsh to island life, I have to say that this is truly the best place that I have ever lived.
