This is a great location in Montevideo. The apartment was very secure, clean, and had all the basic essentials. It was a nice size for two people. Thanks Anna.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
the place is just like we see on the pictures and the location is really great. there are several bus lines nearby and you can walk or get a cheap taxi to restaurants. when we arrived, Ana was there to meet us. there were were drinks (water juice coca cola) on the fridge and some basic hygiene items, which are very handy. I thought the place would be cleaned (since we went there for 7 days), but after I was told the cleaning was going to be done after check out. I think it should be more clear to the guests. It was a good experience, I recommend this place.
We found the apartment to be beyond expectation in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and location (the best in the city). Patricia couldn’t have been more accommodating. During our stay, she responded to our needs on the spot. We would come back.
El apartamento excedió nuestras expectativas en cuanto a confort, limpieza y ubicación (la mejor dentro de la ciudad). Patricia no podría haber sido más atenta. Durante nuestra estadía, respondió inmediatamente a nuestras necesidades. Volveriamos!
Our stay in Montevideo for the month of March was an excellent experience. The apartment, in a charming neighborhood, was quite comfortable and amazingly efficient. It has a well appointed kitchen and plenty of storage space. The location was ideal....it was a short walk to the Rambla. A small grocery store, a pharmacy and bakery are just around the corner and a larger grocery store with anything you would need is about a 15 minute walk. It is possible to walk to many places in the city from the apartment and there are several buses that stop around the corner that go to different parts of the city.
The best part of the experience was working with Patty. She is incredibly kind and accomodating. She put together a detailed itinerary for a trip east to Rocha and shared lots of information about the city, restaurants, cultural attractions and events. Her suggestions were always excellent. She is proud of Uruguay and it shows. We look forward to returning one day and working with her again.
Patricia is about the most sensible, down-to-earth, young lady with the proper etiquette in handling business transactions. She has promptly replied to several requests we’ve made in an agreeably accommodating manner. The apartment is clean, has a full kitchen (I like to cook), and not cramped. It has great water pressure and hot water. Around the corner are a small, convenient grocery store, a small meat market, and a small produce store. Laundry (they wash, dry, and bag for you) is about four blocks away. Several bus stops with a number of routes are located there, too. The Rambla (the road and walkway along the coastline) is just across the Engineering School which is also around the corner, very close-by. The only drawback is the hard furniture, but it seems this is not uncommon in Montevideo. We stayed there a month, and I would not hesitate to stay again.
