If your in New York I highly recommend Kwab's apartment in Brooklyn. It is a great, spacious and provides wonderful aspect onto peaceful backyard. It is only a short stroll to the subway with frequent express trains into Manhattan.I travelled day and late at night and always felt safe. Being out of the city the apartment provides welcome change to energy of New York. If you are on budget there are big supermarkets near by and the kitchen is fully equipped.
Nice and clean place in a nice and quiet neighborhood. 5 to 10 min walk to Utica station on the blue line. Did not meet Kwab in person, but prompt and adequate responses. Bed is a bit soft, but are you in NY to sleep? Kid frendly with the futon. Small convinience store across the street. Easy parking on the street.
Neighborhood good felt safe. Apartment clean and comfy and all that we needed thanks for the brekkie stuff and peanut butter Kwab!
About 20 mins by subway to city with 10 min walk to Utica station.
Kwab very quick to respond to questions if we needed anything ....good place to stay and interesting to see the real NYC for those who live there and not in the up market sections of society......a good intro for our first visit to NYC!
We enjoyed our stay at Kwab's 1 bedroom apartment a lot. The apartment is clean, big enough for the 4 of us and offered everything we needed. Nice bars and restaurants near by and metro lines easy accessible. Kwab was always accessible and reacted promptly as we needed the heating to be turned on. We can recommend this host and his nice apartment.
Awesome place to stay in Brooklyn, very conveniently located a short walk from Utica Avenue tube stop which stops on the express and local lines with quick links to Manhattan and other areas of Brooklyn.
Apartment was very spacious, had cool decorative features and was well equipped with plenty of sofas to relax on and a cool little balcony area in the back yard.
Kwab was a great host, made us feel very welcome and provided useful information about the local area including subway apps, local supermarkets and places to eat.
We had a great time in Kwab's spacious and charming apartment in Brooklyn. The train is 5 -10 min. away and in other 10-15 minutes you're in Manhattan. Kwab was extremely friendly and helpful in every way. Nice restaurants around the corner. We highly recommend the place. Thanks!
The apartment was terrific--a mix of clean, old, new, and in a great location.
I almost want to keep his place a secret, but if Brooklyn is your destination, then Kwab deserves your business. In the midst of a snow storm, this place was a warm, clean, comfy, spacious oasis. A long day of business and then shopping in Manhattan left us tired and hungry, but use of the subway and the bus dropped us off just steps away from Kwab's. And with two AWESOME restaurants, Saraghina and Peaches just two blocks away, we didn't have to go far for great food, drinks, and meeting Brooklyn locals. I will be back to Brooklyn in the spring, and either one of Kwab's units will be my first choice.
