A tiny home glamping experience for the free spirit who never follows trends, and always manages to be one step ahead of the crowd. One part hippie, one part cowboy, this bright and airy tiny home is just as unique as you.

Located right off of highway 83, about 3.4 miles from Garner Park and 2.6 miles from the Frio river, you'll be close to the water, yet away from the crowds.

$50 pet fee with breed restrictions. No dogs over 50 lbs.

The space
Enjoy the tranquility of front porch sittin’, bird watching, the relaxation of Frio river floatin’, or gorgeous hiking at Garner Park. We are only a few miles away from both Garner State Park and thr Frio River (the Third Crossing drop off spot in Concan).

This area is surrounded by birds, who make daily appearances in the morning. So far, we’ve spotted an Indigo Bunting, Vermilion Flycatcher, Eastern Bluebird, and even the rare Golden Cheeked Warbler!

We do not have tv or WiFi. This is truly a place to get away from it all, and enjoy nature, friends, and family.

Feel free to browse our orchard and pick fruit when in season, or select fresh herbs from our herb garden for cooking. We have apple trees, plum trees, a fig tree, pear tree, apricot tree, and peach tree. All of our trees were planted with you in mind. We hope you enjoy our fruit as much as we do!

Guest access
You will have full access to this one bedroom tiny home, including the front porch, picnic tables, and bbq pit.

Other things to note
*Any extra guests beyond the maximum amount for this house will be asked to leave. The maximum for this house is 4 people. We will not allow any more people beyond this amount.*

**Be sure to bring beach towels. We do not provide beach towels, and will charge for any missing towels.**

We do have WiFi, but it is very limited and slow. It’s rural country WiFi, and cannot handle streaming services. The WiFi is here if you need to check your email, send a text, make a call, etc. It does not reach this unit, but it is available at the front of our property.

***There is no grocery store in Concan. Be sure to bring groceries with you.***

Location

Concan, Texas, United States

We are located in the adorable town of Concan, Texas. Our property is conveniently located between Garner State Park and the Third Crossing drop off spot at the Frio river. It’s the perfect place for those glampers who want to enjoy both Garner Park and Concan!

This area is knows for amazing nature and wilderness experiences, from floating the gorgeous Frio River, Hiking Old Baldy at Garner State park, learning more about nature through the guided nature tours at Hill Country Adventures, quietly watching some of the most beautiful and rare birds in texas from your own front yard, or standing in awe as millions of bats fly over your head at the Frio Bat Flight, the Texas Hill Country River Region will not disappoint.

One your drive here, be sure to keep your eyes open for exotic animals! You never know what you might see hanging out by the fence line. This area has one of the largest populations of exotic animals in the country! Once you get into Uvalde County and Real County, you could see anything from Zebras to Buffalo.

The beauty in the area is that undeveloped, rural charm. Unfortunately that rural charm, bings all other aspects of country life.
Cell service is not great, only AT&T cell service works out here (and it runs slow during peak season).
Be sure to bring any groceries that you might need. There are few grocery stores in the area: The Concan General store has basic items that you might need,

We are located on 5 acres right off of 83. Because we are conveniently located directly off the highway, there is a substantial amount of road noise (we do provide white noise machines and ear plugs for our guests).

In 2015 we got married in Botswana, under the beautiful African sky. We moved to Australia for a bit, then to San Jose California, back to Texas, and now we are growing some roots in the beautiful Texas Hill Country near the Frio River. We are always looking for our next adventure! Our latest adventure is sharing our cozy Frio River tiny homes and cottages with our awesome guests!
