Michelle's apartment is a beautiful one and spacious. Actually I needed only half of it. The kitchen is well equipped: I cooked most of the days. Sometimes Michelle and I had dinner together, which was very nice. At her floor or at mine. I spent a month here and it felt like coming home when I came back from work. Michelle is very helpful and resourseful. Like me interested in art. We went to the movies a few times and she took me to the coast one afternoon. Will definetely return here when staying in Providence. We became friends.
Michelle and Neil are *amazing* hosts. They immediately made me feel welcome with fresh strawberries from the garden, and their kindness continued throughout my entire stay. I'm so grateful to have gotten to know them.
As the place itself, it's pretty fantastic. It's light-filled (key for wintry Rhode Island days), full of greenery, and absolutely charming. The kitchen's particularly notable. It has a super-efficient dishwasher, solid stove and oven, and plenty of space for multiple cooks.
I loved this place!
The apartment is wonderful, light and airy, beautifully furnished, and with everything one could need. Michelle and Neil are gracious hosts. They left food for breakfast, invited me to share the garden and introduced me to life in Providence. I highly recommend their place.
We had a wonderful time on our three week stay here. Michelle and Neil are interesting, warm, and kind. The apartment was spotless and comfortable. They left organic eggs, juice, coffee and toast in the house for us, and invited us to pick raspberries and cucumbers in their lovely garden. They were generous in their knowledge of the area, and it is clear they love Rhode Island and Providence. We enjoyed sleeping with the windows open and listening to the quiet neighborhood sounds. Their house is on a hill, so be prepared for a leg workout, or bring your car.
This is a truly lovely apartment and Michelle was a warm and welcoming host. When I travel I very much need a place to retreat that feels like home and this place filled the bill. There were unexpectedly generous homey touches (good food in the fridge and all of the comforts of a well-appointed kitchen). My only regret was that I was unable to spend more time at the apartment and with Michelle. Next time!
The place itself is beautiful, and Michelle was a warm and generous host.
The early twentieth century apartment is spacious, full of lovely wooden
trim and fun art. The large front room, sunroom with plants, dining room,
kitchen, and bedroom provided plenty of space. In addition, everything was
in great shape, and the furnishings suited the space perfectly. The area is
quiet and pretty, and not far from interesting things like the Brown campus.
Michelle went out of her way to make sure our stay was delightful. She
wrote us a card (since we were celebrating a special moment on our trip),
stocked the cupboards and fridge with some great staples and also fresh
strawberries, and invited us to share coffee with her. She was very
responsive to all our questions and made great suggestions for things to
do. We'd highly recommend staying here.
We had a great time at Michelle's apartment. It is spacious, light and comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. A perfect place to stay.
