My boyfriend and I recently spent 9 nights at Victoria's loft. The place is gorgeous - it looks exactly as pictured and described. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious, the kitchen was well-equipped for all our needs, and there was plenty of closet space. The location was perfect - the Union Square subway stop, which is just a couple blocks away, took us anywhere we wanted to go - and most places midtown and downtown were within fair walking distance. Communication with Victoria was easy from start to finish. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Victoria's place is in a really nice neighbourhood with lots of great eating and shopping places in walking distance! It has been mentioned before that the place is quite noisy, so you should bring a pair of earplugs :-)! We enjoyed our stay very much!
This pretty pad was fab value for what u get. A block away from Union Square station, place was clean, lots of places to eat , everything u need in a rental. For those who are fussed on noise bring yr ear plugs but no surprises, it's NYC! Victoria takes great care & pride in her pad & it shows. It was a pleasure staying there & would go back in a heartbeat when I'm due back
We had the most wonderful stay in Victoria's beautiful and bright apartment. It was clean, tidy and had everything we could ask from a home away from home. The surroundings were perfect and we had everything we needed within a few minutes walk. Victoria was very nice, kind and helpful and I would certainly recommend her place to my friends. Also, as an added bonus, the apartment building has a very interesting history. Don't forget to look it up!
Victoria was a great host! Spent 6 nights in her gorgeous loft, where the location in the Flatiron District right by Union Square, could not have been better. The place looks even better in person, and the space is huge for NYC standards. It also has an elevator, which is very convenient when you've got a lot of luggage or groceries! The only (very minor) drawback is that it's somewhat noisy but a good trade-off for being so centrally located! Victoria was kind enough to accommodate my travel schedule. She was also easy to reach by phone/e-mail regarding any questions I had during my stay. This was my first Airbnb experience and it could not have gone any better. I feel spoiled! Hoping to stay at Victoria's apartment again next time I'm in New York!
I had a wonderful stay at Victoria's apartment. The location was perfect. Its just steps from the subway which connects you to almost every part of Manhattan. There are tons of great places to eat and shop nearby as well. The apartment itself was even better than the posted photos. Very clean and tidy. It got lots of sunlight during that day and provided great views of the city in the evening. The sofa was super comfortable as well. If you are a light sleeper, the noise from the street may be bothersome, but the location definitely makes up for it!
Victoria's place is indeed gorgeous !
Spacious, clean, cosy, full of light, beautifully furnished, well equipped.
Superbly placed with everything you might need in walking distance.
Victoria was a wonderful and attentive host.
I had a great time and I'll define come back !
Victoria's apartment is incredible. It is exactly how you see it in the pictures. The loft is open and spacious and gets great sunlight during the day. The facilities in the apartment are top notch and make you feel like you're at home. The bed is extremely comfortable and the entire apartment is warm even when it's freezing outside.
Union Square makes the apartment even better. You're right in the middle of an area filled with great restaurants and bars, with a subway a block away. The area is close enough to the attractions to be very convenient but far enough away to not be too touristy.
The only issue is the noise. Like everyone else has mentioned, there can be quite a bit of noise from the street. We adjusted to it after the 2nd night and didn't have a problem with it after that.
I will definitely try and stay here again for my next NYC visit and recommend it to anyone wanting a true New York experience. The apartment is amazing and for price that it is available at, it is the best you can get. The noise is a small price to pay for this beautiful apartment
Victoria is an amazing host and very welcoming. It's been like staying at a friend's place who's asking to make yourself at home. Her apartment is located in a historic landmark building next to 'ABC Home'. The high ceilings, sash windows and beautiful interior with the bed facing the most beautiful view over Union Square make this flat so special, that I could have easily stayed forever. Victoria's apartment is just perfect for a business traveller looking for a home away from home. The spacious bathroom & small kitchen, wireless & cable TV and a comfy sofa to hang out on - all you really need. Staying at Victoria's made a true difference, and my NYC trip even more special.
We had an excellent stay at Victoria's apartment. The apartment is in a great location for exploring Manhattan on foot. It's close to loads of good restaurants, the subway and a fresh food market in Union Square.
Victoria was a good host, easy to contact if needed, though we didn't really need anything during our stay. The apartment was clean, and is just like the photos.
As mentioned in previous reviews, there is a little noise but that's what you get for being in the centre of Manhattan and some earplugs will do the trick. The noise doesn't outweigh the benefits of staying here.
We'd happily stay here again :)
