Located on the first terrace, this is the biggest and largest room. Very lighful during the day, the view on the garden and the terrace is an enchantment. The bathroom is a real room to have a real rest too... The present pictures of this rooms are not nice, we're waiting for a fotographer to come, thanks for your trust and understanding !
This house is very well located in the medina, in the
center of the souks, and only 4mn walking distance from the main
famous square Jema El Fnaa.
This 200 year old house has been restored to a very high and
traditional standard, which is pretty hard to find nowadays.
It can receive up to 20 persons in 7 rooms en suites (all
equiped with private wc & bathroom).
One of the best features is the second level terrace as it's taller
than the other places around.
Therefor, at breakfast or dinner time, you can really enjoy a
special moment with a spectacular view of Marrakesh medina and the
surrounding snow covered Atlas mountains.
You can also rent other rooms or the entire house. Please have a look at my other listings on Airbnb.
The building is just gorgeous with a great courtyard and an amazing view from the rooftop terrace. The location couldn't be better, right in the middle of the medina, nestled in among the shops and souks (the only downside is that the taxis can't get you to the door, however there always seems to be someone willing to help you with your bag, for a small tip of course).
Audrey is a lovely host, good with communication and very helpful, bending over backwards to arrange things like dinner for the night or organizing airport pick ups.
It is to be noted that the 1st terrace is actually the third floor not the first like I assumed (though this can be put down to American vs. European terminology) but thought I should mention it just in case! There are also no doors within the rooms, so while there is an en suite bathroom there are only curtains between it and the bedroom so be sure you and your companions know each other really well!
Overall it's a really great place and I would recommend it to any of my friends heading to Morocco!
