Escape to Austin and stay in a newly remodeled bungalow in the heart of all the hip East ATX action. One mile from downtown, even closer to the legendary East-side food trucks and eateries like Franklin BBQ, Launderette, Via 313, & East Side King.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CAMPER: If do not have 5 people in your party, I rent the vintage camper in the backyard separately. The patio area is shared between the two properties. Please be courteous and observe quiet hours (after 10 p.m.). DO NOT try to open and go into the camper in the middle of the night. (This has happened a few times, that is why I am leaving explicit instructions.)
RECYCLING: Please put recycles (cans, glass, paper, plastic) by using the small green waste basket or dispose them in the large blue bin outside on the right of the front of house.
GLITTER: I ask if you are having a party at the house, please DO NOT bring glitter or I will charge you a $50 cleaning fee. It gets everywhere and is difficult to remove.
SMOKING: Leave the house as you found it. Respect the neighbors. If you smoke, do it outside and trash your butts.
LOCK-OUT: Do not climb through windows. Call me at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) or call a locksmith if I don't answer.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.

I love sharing my home with friends and strangers alike. I've lived in Austin for 13 years and am happy to point you to spots off the beaten path (Cathedral of Junk) to the sparkling jewels in the middle of the city (Barton Springs). I'm a User-Experience Designer for a Clean Tech/Energy Management start-up. I love the challenge and rewards of conserving in all aspects of life. I enjoy bike riding, brewing and drinking craft beer, gardening, petting my chickens, sewing and DIY projects, seeing live music, traveling, and eating great food. I've only been to 13 countries and 25 states. I most recently spent a few months in Hawaii living off grid on a living farm that is doing reforestation on the Big Island.
