This was one of the best airbnb experiences I have had yet! The place was homey, awesomely decorated and in a great location! Thanks Angel!
Angel is a very quick communicator, which was a big help when our arrival time changed twice because we couldn't escape the icy tundra of Boston. Also, her property was adorable, clean and exactly as pictured - immaculate design and decor! We liked being a little off the beaten path as well. 12th street had more car noise than we expected, but as 14-year city dwellers it wasn't a big deal, just something to be aware of if you are sensitive to noise.
Xeriscape has great personality, is well kept, and comfortable. All the downtown goodness is a quick drive away, but there's also plenty of fun stuff in East Austin (check out Angel's very useful map). The wifi was on point and parking is a breeze. Angel's a great host … on top of all the details.
We recently booked the Bungalow for a girls weekend in Austin - a Bachelorette Party of 9. The home was more than comfortable for our large party! We also rented the darling trailor in the back... it is so cute and the extra sleeping space came in handy! We wanted a very Austin experience and this place was more than perfect! We were close to great food (ate at the Salty Sow and it was amazing!) & only an Uber ride away from 4th Street shenanigans. The home is decorated so cute! Everything you could possibly need was there. Angel was fantastic to work with! She was quick to respond and provided all the information we would need for a fun weekend away! I would absolutely recommend this Bungalow and hope to rent it again soon. Cheers!
My friends and I had a great time at Angel's hip and charming home. The space was open and stylish, and accommodated four people nicely. Thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and an array of toiletries (I was especially impressed with the nail polish remover. Saved me a trip to Walgreen's!) really helped us to settle in easily. Parking in the driveway was super convenient, and the closed in back porch was a nice place to unwind and catch up with old friends. We were a little late on checking out (whoops) and ended up getting to meet Angel; she was laid back and genuinely interested in the quality of our stay. The only thing I would want to change is having a hotter shower, but we spoke to Angel about this and she has a game plan to get it taken care of for her future guests. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
Angel was outstanding at communication, and more than generous and professional. This was our first Airbnb experience, and we were unsure of what we were supposed to be doing, but Angel gave great instructions and made everything extremely convenient. She was even kind enough to let us house our luggage after check out time so that we didn't have to tote it around with us.
The house and the camping trailer were so cute and cozy. We were comfortable, it was quiet in the evenings, and it was a short Lyft ride to a lot of great areas for food and bars.
Amazing experience. Angel has done a fantastic job with the place and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Very quirky and cute! Thanks!

I love sharing my home with friends and strangers alike. I've lived in Austin for 13 years and am happy to point you to spots off the beaten path (Cathedral of Junk) to the sparkling jewels in the middle of the city (Barton Springs). I'm a User-Experience Designer for a Clean Tech/Energy Management start-up. I love the challenge and rewards of conserving in all aspects of life. I enjoy bike riding, brewing and drinking craft beer, gardening, petting my chickens, sewing and DIY projects, seeing live music, traveling, and eating great food. I've only been to 13 countries and 25 states. I most recently spent a few months in Hawaii living off grid on a living farm that is doing reforestation on the Big Island.
