My host, Claudia, made me feel welcomed and immediately at home upon my arrival. She gave me a tour of her incredible Tudor manse while my room was prepared. Love the details built into this estate!
I enjoyed my stay at Euclid Mansion and was comfortable in the private room. Location is walkable distance to BART, restaurants, shops, Whole Foods & a great weekend farmers market. Also included is light breakfast in the convenient kitchen upstairs.
We were welcomed by Mark who showed us around and brought us to our beautiful room.
Euclid Manor exceeded our expectations- it was the nicest airbnb we have seen in many respects. It was convenient for our visit to Oakland and had everything we could have wanted. It was very comfortable and it was nice to have the shared kitchen. Our thanks to Claudia and Mark for a wonderful visit.

Claudia was a wonderful host and provided great recommendations about the area. We loved staying with her and absolutely would again.
I spent a week at Claudia's and the room was exactly what was described. Claudia was a wonderful host, who welcomed me the day I arrived and even drove me to the shops and showed me around. The room has an amazing bed, like seriously I want the bed. The micro kitchen had a starter breakfast which was more than enough for me. The lake merritt area is also very accessible to San Francisco, which makes this airbnb perfect for the working professional. I'd definitely stay here again..
Claudia and Mark greeted us upon arrival which she graciously allowed us to do a bit early. The room was just as pictured: very clean and, above all quiet. Sharing a bathroom was a non-issue and the kitchen area is clean with all the fixings for coffee, tea, and a continental breakfast.
Well located to take a stroll/jog around the lake or visit the many restaurants along the boulevard.
We recommend staying with Claudia and would happily stay at Euclid manor again.
Another wonderful stay! Claudia Ward and family always make our trips to Oakland and our visits at Euclid Manor so warm and worth while. We rented two rooms - both clean and lovely. All aspects of our stay went well! Euclid Manor sets the bar for Air BnB travel and that is why it is always pleasure to stay there again and again.

About the Host, Claudia
Love attention to detail and excellent service. After living in Asia for many years I really appreciate the subtle luxuries in life that make a difference. Friendly, artistic and caring are qualities that best describe my nature. We started using AirBnB to help fund our online video start-up, Minimash. Sadly the business didn't happen, but we stuck with Airbnb. Love cooking, baking, DIY, crafts, cheese, micro-beers, art, photography and all things beautiful in any shape and form.
