The space

A double room in a serene apartment for rent in a historic building dating from the medieval period, located on the 3rd floor, and the stairs was the ones going to the watchtower in the original building dating from the 16th century. The bathroom is shared and always kept in prestine condition. For breakfast you will find coffee, tea, bread, pastries, yugurt and muessli etc, and this can be enjoyed on the roofteracce if the weather permits, which is also a nice place to have a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing or shopping. On the doorstep you will find the Picasso museum, independent boutiques, art galleries, artists workshops, and this is the Borne area known for plenty of trendy bars and restaurants. Several metro stations and bus stops are nearby, howewer most of the sights are within walking distance; the cathedral, Santa Maria del Mar, the beaches and Las Ramblas can be reached in less than 10 minutes. El Vaixell de paper (The Paper Boat) - representing something so fragile yet so strong!

My priority is always the comfort and wellbeing of my guests and I will go out of my way to achieve that goal.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Xavier's home. The location was very convenient and near a lot of great restaurants and shops. My friend and I loved the roof top garden. I would definitely stay here again :)

If you don't mind stairs, this is a cool apartment in a very convenient neighborhood. The roof deck is a great place for a drink at sunset and the room is very comfortable, although no longer contains a desk as in the pictures. Would definitely recommend.

Xavier was a great host. He buzzed us into the building and gave us a tour of his home, as well as keys for our room and the option to use his rooftop terrace. We only stayed one night but made a point of getting back early so we could enjoy the terrace. Xavier has a great place right next to the Picasso museum and surrounded by many shops, restaurants and bars to walk to. We really enjoyed our stay with Xavier and wish we could have been there longer!

Xavier's home was perfect. A short stroll from the beach and La Rambla and La Boqueria. Located in a very safe area and convenient to access the Metro. The best AirBnB experience we have ever had.

Practically attached to Picasso Museum, Xavier's home is central to some of the oldest spots in town, trendy shops and hidden bodegas. Easy communication made it a breeze to check in and out.

Right in the middle of the gothic quarter, Xavi's place has the charm of history on the outside with a very modern, comfortable interior. Not too far from the nightlife of the "new" Barcelona, Xavi's place allows any visitor to experience the new and old world seamlessly. Xavi is a gracious and warm host. Also, croissants and muffins every morning!
