It is not about listing and endless set of rules, basically my philosophy about the house is letting my guests using their common sense, being respectful, treating others as you like being treated and on top of that making the people staying here comfortable and helping them to make the most of their stay with me. My priority is always the comfort and wellbeing of my guests and I will go out of my way to achieve that goal.
You will be given a set of keys after the check in process, giving you complete freedom to go in and out at your will.
Vaxier was such a great host. My husband and I enjoyed our 6 days stay in Barcelona. Vaxier took the time and showed us around his stylish and beautiful home. He showed us map and directions to the metro, gave us recommendations where to go and what to eat in El Born. The apartment is very clean, spacious and equipped with all the essential items. Breakfast was provided which is a great plus and for 4 euros we to do our own laundry. The apartment is located in the city centre and walking distance to the main attractions and restaurants - our personal favourite is Tapeo which is 30 second walk. The first night we didn't have hot water for the showers but thankfully Vaxier quickly resolved the issue the following day and was very apologetic. The Con - 3 flights of narrow, tall and winging stairs on the first and last day with large heavy suitcases. (Note there are no lifts) but it wasn't an issue throughout the rest of our stay. Sometimes the air-conditioning did not work unsure why but other than that....we definitely recommend this listing for the great location and host. Thank you for having us!!!

We stayed 5 nights at Xavier's home. We had a bit of a hard time finding the door due to the crowds around Picasso museum (and a case of jet lag) Called Xavier who directed us where to go and then came and found us on the street when we passed it again! Thanks again for that Xavier! Beautiful home, lovely rooftop patio. Great central location, you can easily walk to most of the sites. If you are up for it you can even go to La Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell on foot (we did both but Parc Guell was a long hike, about 10 miles roundtrip, with the last part before the park being uphill) but public transportation is easily accessed as well.
Xavier was friendly and helpful. Upon arriving he shared information about the area and showed maps etc. to help us make decisions on where to go. We really enjoyed our stay with Xavier and would recommend his place. (Unless you are unable to walk up three flights of narrow winding stairs) Loved the history of the building and the surrounding area. Thank you again Xavier for helping to make our stay enjoyable!

Well before arriving Xavier was very helpful to us in our planning for the the visit to Barcelona. We communicated about our travel plans and he made sure to be at the apartment when we arrived and get us squared away both with the home and with information about Barcelona.
The location simply can not be beat. It is just steps to the Picasso Museum and there is an endless variety of restaurants and shops within walking distance as well as many of the other sights and activities of Barcelona.
The apartment is comfortable to be in and has all the conveniences a traveler would want.
