  • Our family had a really nice & fun time while visiting Japan.
Ringe Attitude is an awesome clean house in a quite and nice neighborhood and it fit us all perfectly. We loved the experiance of living between Japanese people and all were friendly and greeting us in the morning.
Before our arrival Nonie helped us with many things aside from the house and we really do appreciate that since it made our trip a success. On our arrival, our flight was late at night and Nonie met us at the airport and had nice long chat while on the way to the house "Ringe Attitude" and she gave us many recommendations regarding different places to visit.
Nonie also informed us of many things we might need while staying. As for the house was awesome we all liked it. My younger sisters they were a bit fussy regarding the house being a bit far from Tokyo but I really knew that before I reserve the house as I wanted them to lose a bit of their laziness.
We also had nice experience as we were not used to separating the trash but we did separate them while our stay in Ringe Attitude and it was nice experience doing the recycling trash separation and all got used to it.
We also used the kitchen while staying and it was convenient as all the needed equipment and tools for cooking and dining were there.
We made sure to clean the house while our stay and before leaving and Nonie helped us the whole time while we were staying regarding any query or favors we had asked her, thank you very much Nonie we really appreciate it from you and I will definitely recommend this house to my friends and if we get the chance to visit Japan again will definitely consider reserving with you again.
    thank you very much.

  • We had a lovely stay at Nonie's place. The rooms are big by Japanese standards and have plenty of closet space, which was fantastic since we were long term guests. Our stay was in April-May, which was sometimes chilly but the space heater provided kept us quite comfortable. All of the facilities of the house were in great working order and were a pleasure to use. We always had clean linens and the house was always pretty spotless.

Nonie made us feel welcome without being pushy. While we were there she made a point of arranging meals at home for the guests a couple times so that we could get to know each other a little. I felt like I was welcome to hang out in the kitchen or living room anytime. Nonie also let us know about a number of events and other opportunities when they came up (a hirame party that she was going to in a park in Tokyo, coupons on izakaya joints, and so forth).

Nonie's place is a 15-20 minute walk to the station, and most of that walk is through quiet residential streets broken up by peaceful forest parks. Sometimes there was a bike available, which was super convenient. We were usually the only gaijin we'd see on our walks but everyone we ran into was friendly. There are several excellent grocery shopping opportunities near the train station, so it was easy to cook most of our meals at home. There were some restaurants right by the station as well, and an extensive selection of bars, cafes, and eateries only one stop away in Kashiwa.

Minamikashiwa is an easy ride into Tokyo. Most major stations can be reached with only a single transfer, and your ride is only about 40 minutes to get to Ueno and an hour to get to Harajuku on the other side of town. It was also a fantastic base for my wife to use for her bujinkan taijitsu training. The dojos are spread out all over the area northeast of Tokyo and she was a 20-45 minute train ride from all the locations. We'll definitely stay again next time we're in this part of Japan!
