This house is simply amazing. It was everything promised and yet so much more. While we had seen the pictures, our first words were "Wow!" when we walked in. Dominique was there to welcome us and help us settle in. The house was clean, the showers, steam shower and jacuzzi tubs were a welcome relief after a long day of touring the city, and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely and has everything you could need including shops for cheese, meat, wine, and bread as well as a variety of restaurants (all of which provided terrific food and friendly service to a group of Americans that knew little to no French). The Monoprix is a terrific grocery store and so easy to get to. The train station is an easy walk and easily accesses Saint Lazarre, which will get you everywhere. Dominique was wonderful and provided a tasty breakfast and a cheery smile every morning and took the time to make sure we knew where we were going for the day and offered to help in any way that he could. The only negative thing I could say is we wish we had access to the washer and dryer, though there is a laundry facility in the neighborhood if it is really needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Paris!
Our family consisted of two grandparents, 1 toddler, and 1 infant and we all had a wonderful stay at Le Loft d'Isabelle. The booking process with Pierre went very smoothly and he was extremely helpful with my questions. Dominique was our host and came every morning to prepare a lovely breakfast with several delicious options. He was very friendly and helpful with all my family's needs. The loft is beautifully appointed and very comfortable for us all. We loved the natural light and olive tree and the couches were super comfy. Also street parking was not too difficult and there is a public garage close by. The town if Courbevoie is lovely and the people friendly. The location of the loft was very convenient to grocery, post office, train, parks, etc. The only thing that I would recommend is to clarify the availability of the washer and dryer. The machines were located in the basement which was off limits to guests. This wasn't a huge problem as Dominique was extremely accommodating and helped us with our laundry needs. Also the alarm system was unintentionally armed by the owner during the second day of our stay and went off when we got back. It was very very loud! We were given the wrong code to disarm it but thankfully Dominique came by as soon as he could and sorted everything out.
Our stay at Le Loft Isabelle was lovely. We were a group of 7 staying for four days in Paris before our wedding in Bourgogne. It was a great way to be together and we all agreed this was SO much better than staying in multiple hotel rooms. We enjoyed lunch on the terrace, wine and beers in the living room, family breakfast, and the bride relaxed in the steam room! I was a bit nervous about staying too far outside of Paris, but there was no need. It was zn extremely easy 5-6 minute walk to the train station and arrive directly to Saint Lazare. From there you can take the metro anywhere. In fact, it was nicer to come "home" away from touristy areas. As everyone mentioned, Dominique, the breakfast, kitchen, steam room, and decor were all wonderful. We too thought the loft looked even better in reality than the photos. Groceries and restaurants were close by. My new husband and I would LOVE to stay there again with a group of friends. Highly recommended!
Goods: 3 really nice bathrooms, awesome kitchen, tons of space, in floor heating, very nice breakfast, 5 min walk to a rail line that takes you right to St Lazare (a major hub). The neighborhood is amazing with a grocery store and restaurants close by. Easy fit two couples with teenage and younger kids - 9 people altogether. Breakfast was good and Dominique did a nice job helping get taxis and giving us directions.
Others (minor): Ants on the floor, difficult to control the heat on the first floor bedrooms, would have been nice to have a welcome basket with some water and didn't have access to any in-house laundry facilities.
Would definitely stay there again, highly recommended for family's or a large group.
We stayed at the Loft Isabelle for 3 nights in February with a group of 12 peoples. The loft is really even better than we anticipated from the photos. Since we visited in February, the night were cold. Please be sure to ask the host about both heating systems and the extra blankets (assuming you travel during winter time). We really enjoyed the humongous fire place, the sofa space and the very large dining table. The rooms were comfy.
The host, Dominique, was really helpful with information about the neighborhood, transit options to get to Paris and finally setting up breakfast every morning. Nothing better than to wake up to a Parisian breakfast.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and we would stay there again.
Everything we experienced at the Loft was amazing. Pierre arranged drivers for us, who picked us up at the airport. The Loft was incredible! We had 12 people, and in the pictures I only counted beds for 10, but there was indeed beds for 12. The Loft was huge, and we had 8 kids with our party, the loft was perfect for them. So much better than staying in a tiny hotel room! There is also a playground right across the street that our children loved playing in! There is a few restaurants within walking distance that were really good. The Becon Le Bruyere train station was really close by and made all of Paris easily accessible. Dominique always amazed us with the croissants and breakfasts that were magically prepared in the morning, and these also helped us have the energy we needed to run around all day! My favorite part of the Loft was the steam shower! Overall, it was Fantastic!
it's a very big and beautiful apartment.
it's a little bit far from the city as it's in zone 3.
But it's perfect for family or friends who doesn't need much sightseeing in central Paris.
the only problem is the host i met was not the one i contacted before which i was not informed.
it's a small problem, but i hope can be informed before check in next time.
My medical students and my family were looking for the perfect location in Paris to recover after a two-week medical mission in Kenya and we definitely found it in Le Loft! Beginning with a very warm greeting from Dominic to the arranged taxi sendoff to CDG with full stomachs, again thanks to Dominic. Le Loft's location was ideal: 5 min walk to the gare, 30 seconds to good Indian food and 2 minutes to Monopirx and a wonderful bakery with warm pain au chocolate. A stop at Le Loft will be an annual event! Thank you very much!
We were two families traveling together and we had a chance to stay at this amazing place in July 2012 for 4 nights. There were 9 of us in all and each one of us loved this place. It was so convenient to have Dominique around in the mornings. The biggest benefit was the great breakfast that would be waiting for us when we woke up. Besides he was a great help with all the guidance we needed as we made our plans for the day and getting around Paris using public transport. I would certainly be looking to stay at this place again in future.
The train station was a 4-5 minute walk from this place. The metro is a bit farther so we never used that station. We ended up using the Navigo pass for the week and that was most convenient option because we could use all public transport options (Train, metro, bus). Just one tip on that: (email hidden) pass if you are planning to visit Versailles or travel to the airport. We (email hidden) pass and we had to buy separate tickets when we went to Versailles. Also remember that the trains stop service after 00:30. We ended up taking the last train back. Which was lucky or we would be paying for taxis to get back for the night. Also, you will need pictures for the Navigo pass so make sure you have those when you buy them. We just took our pictures on the phone and used the computer at the apartment to print the thumbnail sized pictures and used those for the pass.
I also have to mention this really good Italian restaurant on the way to the train station "Don Luigi's" (just a min walk from the apartment). We all loved that place the first night we got there and we made sure we went there again for the last night. Also remember that they close by 10 pm. Actually this apartment is so good we were thinking of ordering take out and bringing it in for a nice lunch/dinner at the place but never got a chance, maybe next time!
I booked this place for someone else.
Andrew was a great host. The whole booking process was very good and he made everything to make sure the guest would have the best possible experience.
